service was really good. removed two stars cz they would charge extra for stuff that’s included in a regular pedicure in nyc lol, $10 extra to rasp your foot . definitely not going back again.

There are many subpar nail salons in Downtown Jersey City but Zion sticks out because I actually went there more than once, for a gel manicure and regular pedicure, and the gel polish on my nails chipped in under 7 days of my normal, day-to-day life (i.e., no excessive exposure to the elements or rough handling of my nails, etc.). Absurd. If I were a paranoid person, I would be questioning whether their “gel” polishes are even real gel polish, or if their UV gel curing machines even work or are just pretty light up toys.

It’s just okay and overpriced for what it is. The service is pretty hit or miss. expect a basic pedicure where the staff are very distracted and you’ll be done in 12-15 mins.

Went at 4:30p for a regular manicure and pedicure when they closed at 6p which seemed like ample time. However, when I got there they were cleaning around me and seemed annoyed that I wanted both services. When I was leaving I had to duck under the security gate to get out! If they want to close at 4:30p they really should not accept customers at that time. I felt like a burden when I was anticipating a relaxing experience! $40 for a manicure/pedicure seemed overpriced when my toes were half painted (see picture below). Also, I asked for the same color on fingers and toes and the girl did them two completely different pinks! Really subpar quality. They do a good gel manicure but if I have to go somewhere else for a pedicure it just really isn’t worth it for me. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere moving forward.

They have a friendly customer service. It was my first time going to this salon. I was on my phone the whole time while I was getting a gel pedicure that I didn’t realize she didn’t paint my pinky toe on my right foot. I’m pretty disappointed about that

I highly recommend Zion Nails for a great mani-pedi experience. Gel manicures last for weeks. Service is always professional/kind, and color options seem never-ending. I’ve been served via walk-in and by appointment. They aim to please here

My husband and I have been to mul spots for our pedicure and we always come back to Zion Nails. Friendly and excellent service for spa, regular and/or gel pedicures.

Sometimes the pedicures are great and sometimes they’re not good. Customers pay for a relaxing service, so constantly yelling across the room over and over how fast an employee can get to the next customer is really not relaxing at all. It’s startling. Manicures are usually good.
