I have been going to Zi Spa for around 9 or 10 years now. Over time, it seems like the service has declined. The final straw for me was yesterday. I made an 11:00 hair appointment two weeks ago. I arrived a few minutes before 11:00 yesterday and checked in. I waited until 11:30 (no one had checked on me, I wasn’t offered a beverage, just sitting there) and then let them know I couldn’t wait any longer as I had made my hair appointment for my lunch period and there wouldn’t be enough time at that point. They said ok and I left. No follow up call to reschedule. No apology. Just a waste of my time.

My visit was not as pleasant as expected. I loved my mani and my haircut. I also had brow tinting. However I had never had my brows tinted so I tried it.unfortunately I had a very bad allergic reaction two days later, itching redness and brows covered in blisters that started to pop in brow area. My face, and forehead swelled up, my eyes were swollen shut and it sent me running to the ER. I am now on medication and raw bandaged brows now. I definitely will not be returning. The photos are from Oct 1-3. I have noticed that positive reviews get responses, but my negative review has gotten not one.

One of the best spa experiences I have had to date. As a plus size woman spas can come with some trepidation. Will the robes fit? Will I fit on the table? What will the employees think of me? At Zi Spa the first thing that made the experience amazing was that they had a robe that not only fit, but comfortably fit. The technicians were knowledgeable, kind, and professional. I left feeling truly pampered and cared for. I had such an amazing time that before I left I booked another appointment for the next weekend! Highly recommend.

Critical: Communication, Professionalism, QualityI used to be a very loyal customer. But those days are over. For me it has gone downhill. This is the second time they have messed up an appointment time for me. Today December 14, 2021 I had an appointment at 10 AM. I called just a few days ago to make the appointment so I am absolutely sure that I did not mess up on the time because I would never have been able to be there at 9 AM. However, that’s when they had booked me for a manicure pedicure. When I arrived they told me I missed my appointment and that the only thing they could do was give me an Express manicure Which I had no choice but to accept. When I was leaving and paying at the front desk I noticed a flaw in one of the nails. I asked for a quick fix but was told that all the manicurist were busy with their customers and could not help me. I have never heard of that ever at a nail salon, this attitude that if there’s a flaw in the nail they can’t do anything about it at all. Absolutely ridiculous and completely unrealistic. They didn’t even try to make it better by giving me a discount or even an apology. Basically just charged me and sent me out the door. Massage was great (I would give 5 stars for our massages). I am leaving 1 star because I booked appointments for massage and pedicures 2 months ago. I was called by spa receptionist to rebook time for our service 3 weeks ago, which we agreed to no problem. We Checked in for our services and nothing was said about our pedicure appointments. After our massage we were informed they double booked for pedicures and we would not be getting our pedicures. We were offered a pizza (that’s right a PIZZA?!?) for the inconvenience which we declined. Very disappointed in the lack of communication and the unorganisation!! We will not be returning! If you read other reviews this seems to be a reoccurring problem!
