I was a walk in at 4:30pm on Saturday, they took me in without any problems. This is my first time coming to Zen. The pedicure was good. The best part and why they get a 5 start rating was the foot and leg message. The message is the best I ever gotten at a nail salon. I think I had Susan because that was the name at the station. Thank you for welcoming walk ins late on Saturdays.

I booked my appointment easily and was seated in a timely manner. My pedicure was lovely on a prep front and the polish was nicely applied. My manicure was badly rushed. No work was done on my cuticles and several nails were shaped cookedly. I selected an ombre color scheme and she ignored my request to use a sheer base and insisted upon a full coverage color. The manicurist seemed frustrated when I requested that she correct for the shaping issues. The next day my cuticles hurt from having layers of product applied over them, and I asked the owner to please find time to have someone correct for the problems. When I returned, he “gave a second chance” to the original manicurist…that was a terrible idea. She was rushed again, she did cuticle work and then was shocked that I wanted the nail color to cover the huge amount of exposed nail. She poorly applied a layer of color which has since lifted and caused weird broken areas all along the edges. Two days later, I noted that the edges of my toe nails were ragged & upon inspection, were totally unfiled. In short, the unnamed manicurist needs a lot of training and the owners need to take her out of service until she gets it.

Went to get my nails done, and specifically told the nail tech that I one of my nails is breaking off. Didn’t seem to care and as he vigorously removed the polish from my nail he ripped half of my nail clean off. Very painful. Also he used dirty, used tools. Not a fresh pack for me.
