I brought my BF here because I’ve never had a problem with getting my hair cut or colored and the girl who cut his hair (idk her name but she has brown or black and white hair that was half up half down) absolutely MESSED IT UP!! I watched from outside in the window and she pulled all of his hair to the top of his head and just chopped it, it’s all different lengths all over his head and the front is cut at a hard angle, she cleaned it up so bad that it’s all wonky behind his ears and she even cut it way shorter than he told her. VERY disappointed

Always a great experience! My hairstylist is Emily! She does a wonderful job! The studio is always clean and staff is super sweet! One of thing things that I love about the studio is they text you a least a day before your appointment! I know that sounds silly but, when you are busy, the reminder is nice! ♥️

I’ve always had some anxiety when it comes to getting my hair cut & styled because I’ve always had poor experiences but when I first tried this place back in 2015 I was happily surprised & felt some of that hair cut anxiety go away. I’ve never had the same hair stylist here & all the wonderful women who’ve cut, colored & styled my hair have actually done a great job. I have extremely long hair that will reach passed my butt & many other places will hack off my hair to above my shoulders in the name of “dead ends” while this salon has NEVER done that. (Thank goodness) The environment is very comfortable & stylists are very friendly & always give me good hair care tips & product suggestions to keep long hair healthy in between my visits. I’ve moved 40+ minutes away from this salon & still continue to make the drive because I really feel like I found the only place I can trust with my hair.

Critical: Professionalism, QualityWe called this place looking for someone to do 4 hairstyles for a wedding, our other vendor had cancelled and we thought we were lucky to find a place that said they had 2 STYLISTS AVAILABLE to do our hair.Fast forward to day of, only one girl was doing our hair. Which would have been fine but she was VERY inexperienced and the other stylist in the salon did not help her at all, even though there wasnt a single other customer there the couple hours we were in the salon.My bridesmaids updos turned out okay. But my hair was absolutely horrible. I needed a simple finger wave and even when I tried expressing that i knew my hair wasn’t turning out I was dismissed by the other stylist and told “it would be fine” it was not. I had to leave because it took so long trying to fix i was late to meet my photographer and our first look and i had to go home and fix my hair myself.I wasnt charged for my hair at least but it shouldnt have gotten to me near tears on my wedding day. I was visiting my sister, I’m from Florida and needed a hair appointment for wash and blow dry. I liked how the appt was made then they followed up to confirm. Everyone was happy and friendly when I arrived. The salon was very clean. The salon owner was the person who did my hair (sorry I forgot your name). She gave me a neck massage, prior to washing my hair. The result was perfect. I will return next time I’m in Michigan.
