Wish I could give her zero. She didn’t even ask for my name just number whilst scheduling. When I came in for cornrows she told me $140?!!! 140 for a 60 dollar job. Then when we decided to leave she threw a fit about this is why she makes ppl pay for deposits bc of cancellation and incompetency. She is the only incompetent one. Overharges like crazy don’t waste your money or time.

I went to this shop mainly because it was close by and they did my kids hair fine. I ask the lady can she just give me a crochet hairstyle. I had perm my own hair and washed it there while she watch me. I told her how to design my hair with accessories and was told after it was done $150. I end up styling it at home afterwards. She only took 1hr&45 mins or less as my head is small for an adult. I’m like that’s wayyyy too much . My back hair is very short she didnt braid that part so 75% of my head was done. She said didn’t I told u the price I’m like no because I would of went elsewhere (assuming It couldn’t have been more than $100)so she said just give me $130 than. I’ll Never go back there again for me or my kids.

I went in to get 2 feed in braids that’s it. It was an okay experience but the first star lost is that the owner was late even after calling. She has it listed that it’s open from 9. I called to confirm and she told me to come in. I got there at around 11:15 and the shop had lights off no one there. I had to call again and she said she was on the way. Another 20 minutes later and she was finally there without even as much as an apology. The second star docked is performance. My hair was a bit curly (but mostly deranged) because I had washed and combed it the night before. She took a skinny tooth comb to my head to comb it out. I could see my hair being ripped out and I had to ask her to use a wide tooth comb which should be common practice. You do not comb black hair with small combs before you at least go in with the big comb.

I honestly would never go back. She charged me $80 for a natural hair braid ponytail. It was one braid!!! The style literally took 15 mins and she did the bare minimum. She didn’t blow my hair out didn’t moisturize it. She combed it out while it was dry and brittle with a skinny tooth comb slapped some gel on it did the braid then was like $80… I was shocked because I was expecting $40 or $50 AT MOST. In the city I payed $25 and they did a way better job!!! The braid wasn’t even neat hairs are sticking out. She didn’t even apply hot water to the braid I had to do it myself when I got home. She knew she was wrong when I brung it to her attention then returned me $20 lol so it was actually $60 for a hairstyle that isn’t going to last a week. For all that I could of just got my hair braided professionally at a more affordable braiding shop. Lesson learned. NEVER AGAIN. My money is valuable to me & I don’t appreciate being taken advantage of.

I hate getting my hair done because of the fact that I am super tender headed. she was so gentle at each braid I could tell she took her time doing it. It was quick it only took her 4 hours to do this style and I absolutely love my hair!!!

Went in to get my starter locs a month ago and was told my hair wasn’t long enough for the style or braids. I thanked them for the advice and paid $15 for the shampoo I received. I called a few days ago and asked if I could come have my hair braided. They told me it would be $40. I Went in a few days ago after having my hair braided 2 weeks prior from a family friend. She told me it would be $40 if I have rubber bands for them to use. I was never told I had to supply my own rubber bands to a hair salon. She said it would be $20 more to use their rubber bands or I could go home and bring my own. I would never go back to this place. They are not motivated to do any work and don’t care if they lose your business whatsoever!

Critical: Professionalism, PunctualityI was so excited to go here because I saw the beautiful work this shop did on my coworker’s hair. She said they were fast too, which is perfect because I can’t stand sitting still. I scheduled a 10 am Saturday morning appointment for box braids and confirmed it twice. I showed up at 10 while my braider didn’t show until 10:50. When she DID show, she said “I was running late, sorry. My sister told me I should apologize for being late”. You have to be told to respect people’s time? While doing my hair, my braider was talking with the other workers, which I wouldn’t have minded at all, except she stopped an excessive amount of times to talk with her hands. A client with a full head of braids from the day before walked in and requested 2 of her braids be redone in the front. My braider asked me to hop out of the chair for 10 minutes while she fixed the other woman’s hair. There also were issues with the plumbing in the back of the shop that a plumber was working on. She kept leaving the other woman to work with him. So after waiting on this woman for another 30 minutes, I realized it was noon and there was no way I was getting out before the shop closed. I had all of 2 braids installed. 2 long little rat tails. I put my hair in a bun, packed up and left. I really wanted to like this place but am super bummed out.
