Meka is super nice and it’s easy to carry conversation. She educated me on my hair since I’m transitioning to my natural hair for relaxing it for many many years. She was very informative and offered tips and tricks on not only my natural hair BUT also for my knotless braids. She did amazing work on my knotless braids and the brand of hair she uses is THE BEST I’ve come across. I got my knotless braids in the beginning of November and it is now December, they look great!!!!!!! I am excited for my next appointment!

My experience with this salon was absolutely amazing! I have never had my hair professionally cut before and my hair stylist Ellen was so kind and professional. I chose this location specifically because they have experience with natural mixed-heritage hair. I decided to grow out my natural curls and do the big chop! Don’t go here. The girl that does extensions totally mess up my sew-in. She talked me out of a lace front. Then my hair was unable to blend due to how much she left out on top left area and underneath. It took her 5 days to respond to my text about the issues I was having. Then she said she could fix it but it wasn’t her fault that hair wouldn’t blend. As a professional she should know how to do this. She also put so much weave on the right side with very little hair that I could not cover it and I had a huge bump with the track showing in the front.

When I say the best damn hairstylist in Arizona, excuse me for cursing but man Meka is the best. I’m original from New York and I’ve only let one other stylist touch my hair for the past 18 years. When I moved to Arizona I was so skeptical to try someone new, but didn’t want to continue flying to New York just for my hair. I went to Meka and I’ve been going to her for the past 3 years. My hair has grown so much and is the healthiest it has ever been. I’m so thankful for Meka, she is truly the best!
