I really enjoy coming to this place. My stylist Karina is attentive and nice to me. I was able to make an appointment early and she was done within a reasonable time. She colored my hair, washed and blow dried it. This is my fourth time coming. Prices are reasonable. The salon is beautiful. I would recommend for people to come here.

I’ve been going to this hair salon for years. I go typically twice a year to get a layered bob, sometimes 3 times per year if I decide to get my hair dyed or something. I’ve never paid more than $50 for a wash and haircut. I went there tonight and I got the most basic hair cut. It was just a blunt cut straight across. Spent a short amount of time in the chair and got charged $67, and this was before tip. Only thing extra that was done was that she blow dried and flat ironed the hair. I’ve gotten way more service and spent less there. Idk what happened. But needless to say tonight will be the last time I go there. It’s sad because they’re always so nice, but I can’t pay $70 for basic trims.

Morena was great! She gave me the copper highlights that no one at other salons were able to do for my hair. Other salons couldn’t deal with my curly think hair and highlights would come out either more red or blondina/grey. Morena had a very great personality too. I texted her for an appt. and was attended to right away when I arrived. She cut my hair in layers just like I wanted.

Did not colored my hair right. My hair came out with red spots when my natural hair is black and I requested black. Customer service is awful. I requested pedi and manicure which they gave me a waiting time then they tried to argued I didn’t mention I wanted the service. On top of all they charged me 160 dollars when I was there before the hair coloring, trimming and blow dry was only 100. Way over priced for the poor service!

I went to Yvelesee for a second time, this month. I went once last year for the holidays, I have natural hair and desired a wash and set, I was told my kind of hair can’t get a wash and set because it will be puffy, whatever that means because natural hair can set. They just are not knowledgeable on how to care for black women’s natural hair. I went a few weeks ago to morena and my hair is completely heat damaged, it’s horrible I’ve never experienced this before my hair even smelled burnt after the styling very burnt It was very embarrassing. I washed my hair for the first time after and it STILL smells burnt. This sucks, it will take me a lot of time, effort, and patience to get my hair back to it’s natural state. Please educate yourself on how to care for
