Just terrible. They have teenagers working that clearly don’t have experience doing nails, at one point I was then assigned a more experience nail tech and then this happened. I asked for a refund and they simply refused, they should have it written somewhere to notify people before they pay for work they can do at home. Pedicure, Manicure

The owner of the salon I used to go to moved out of state so I was looking for a new one. I tried Yuan because they were local and close. I got a full ANC set on my natural nails. She cut my fingers in a couple of places and the design I asked for was sloppy. But what really got me was every single nail broke. The first 2 broke within hours. I went back and got them fixed the next day. Then 3 more broke within another couple days (5 total in less than a week), and an additional 2 more broke the following week. These were my birthday set and I was really upset. They also cost more than my previous salon which I had been going to for a year and never broken a single nail. Let alone 7 in under two weeks. I will not be going back. They were kind, and the shop was clean but outside of that my nails were terrible quality and im sad.

I came in for a fill. Said I did not have an appointment and asked if they had time. They told me to pick a color. Sign says $25 for a fill, I also got them shaped which normally I get charged a max of $5 for. No designs or anything just gel polish. They charged me $48!!! For a FILL!!! Never again. The second girl who painted my nails was also extremely rude. “Next time make an appointment” – you could have told me you were busy and to come back instead of being frustrated that I came in without an appointment.

So, I just recently moved to this area and of course there was a need to find new salon. Well, I walked in scheduled an appointment for gel manicure and pedicure as noticed area was very clean and maintained. On the day of my appointment the guy who was doing my pedicure was nice, but oh boy he did not do a good job. I usually give a second chance and decided to schedule another appointment. This time around a girl was doing my manicure and pedicure. Well, first of all polish was everywhere even on my skin, plus she did not file my nails. Color was uneven, like I’m not sure if they are even trained properly. Long story short, I don’t like causing scenes and decided I would be better off doing my nails on my own until I find a better suitable salon.

It’s Good! The space is very bright and clean and it’s all on the 1st level so no stairs. The equipment is good quality and in good condition and the utensils appear to be sterilized. Parking is no problem with plenty of free street parking and 2 small lots are open nearby. The personal were professional and polite although they do speak English with a heavy accent. The pricing is on the high side with the lowest cost pedicure at $30 although we got the honey treatment for $35 that includes a wonderful lower leg and foot massage. I highly recommend YNS and plan to go again soon especially because I live close by in Cohoes and like to support our local businesses.
