Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueI recently visited Ysabel’s Beauty Salon for highlights by Ysabel herself (owner/operator). I’ve been to this salon on/off over the years and Ysa has done my hair each time. This time however, her application was sloppy, inconsistent, uneven. The color was off (quite orange vs the caramel honey tone we discussed) + the ends were fried – almost white from over processing. The fix would have been easy – warm color rinse on top to soften it a bit – which I think we did once before (easy peasey). I called 2xs the day of application to discuss it but she refused to come to the phone nor has she ever returned my calls. I recently visited Ysabel’s Beauty Salon for highlights by Ysabel herself (owner/operator). I’ve been to this salon on/off over the years and Ysa has done my hair each time. Critical: Professionalism, QualityA friend of mine visited this salon and the service that she received was horrible and how her hair turned out was inexcusable and the owner was and is unprofessional.She visited Ysable beauty salon and getting services for color highlight, not only was she left displeased but also unsatisfied. She had been to this salon before previously on and off for years and not had any problems.So she was completely confident in having her hair highlighted in a warm honey caramel color but instead her hair was fried at the ends/tips and the color was not at all the color it should have been. In fact the color was more burnt orange as opposed to a honey caramel that she have previously received before.After reaching back out to Ysable herself to discuss how she can fix her hair, she has refused to return her calls and brushes her off. Her receptionist also tells her that Ysable is booked and it may be a while before they can get her in to fix her hair.After seeing my friends hair I have never been so upset in how she is so unsatisfied and to have the owner to be so unprofessional as to not return calls or attend to her needs of fixingher hair.Her hair is natural and beautiful, and you would think that the owner would know how to treat natural hair when it comes to coloring and taking care of it. She had no problems with her hair before this.This business has not only ruined her hair but also the trust, and to act so unprofessional and rude is cowardly and unwarranted on their behalf. Do not patron this business or get services from Ysabel herself.
