Critical: Professionalism, ValueI got a full set two weeks before coming in to get a fill. The full set cost $35.00 after they tried to force me to get “gel nail polish” (shellac). I told them I would just like a full set and no color. They immediately got fussy about it and I told them I would just go somewhere else. Then they said “no, no, no it’s fine. We can do that.” Cool. Got the full set and painted them myself. No big. Fast forward to two weeks later and I go in for a fill. I get done and go to pay and the girl tells me my total is $48.00. I was absolutely floored. I had already given her my card as she was adding up the price and when I asked about it she was talking as she swiped my card and said that “gel nails” cost more. I didn’t even get gel nails and I have never had a fill that cost more than a full set. I should have learned my lesson the first time. I didn’t know that new management had taken over. I’ve been going to this salon since I moved to the area over 5 years ago. The family that owned it before were super nice and I never had any issues with them. I will never go back to this salon. The workers are rude, try to get everything done in 5 minutes, and are constantly on their phones the whole time your getting your service done. I do not recommend. I got a full set two weeks before coming in to get a fill. The full set cost $35.00 after they tried to force me to get “gel nail polish” (shellac). I told them I would just like a full set and no color. They immediately got fussy about it and I told them I would just go somewhere else. Then they said “no, no, no it’s fine. We can do that.” Cool.
