Had a 12:30 appointment, which they told me they had available. Didn’t get taken in until 2 and people who came in over a half hour after me were taken before me. Instead of being accommodating, the manager started arguing with me. Seriously don’t go here if you have somewhere you need to be, only come if you want to wait over an hour!

They were rude and the pedicure was about 10 minutes ling. The person who did my nails clipped my skin. Not only was it a terrible pedicure, I had to pay 6 more dollars to remove a partial gel pedicure. For a 10 minute pedicure I paid 31.00. Worst pedicure I have ever gotten. I figured I would try somewhere different. That was a MISTAKE! NOT worth it.

the nail artist was either in a rush or very bad. she filed my skin until it started bleeding, and she didn’t say anything about it. next, she got a brush hair in my gel nail, and instead of trying to take it out she left it in and now I have a squiggly line in one of my nails. and also, she forgot to file one of my nails and now it’s flat when the other nails have a natural almond shape. to make matters worse, she got polish on my skin and didn’t wipe it off, and since it’s gel polish it hasn’t come off yet and I’ve had my nails for 3 days and I’ve tried washing and picking it off.

I’ve never left a bad review on something before but this was bad. I walked in and no one greeted me or even looked up. I was standing there for about 5 minutes before someone came over and asked me what I wanted. I asked for a full set and waited while there was plenty of open tables with technicians. Finally someone took me and I showed them a picture of what I wanted, they glanced at it and said okay. They said “gel?” I said “no thank you” then she continued to ask me and suddenly said the price for regular was $35 when it said $25 on the sign and I called before and they said $25. I said fine and got gel. She started doing my nails. She did not clean or cut them, did not push back the cuticle or anything. She ran over it with the tool and then slapped the acrylics on. She made them very long and I asked her to make them a little shorter but she did nothing. Remember I showed her a picture of exactly what I wanted and she decided not to look at it. She rushed and finished in about 20min. They were thick and crooked and didnt ask me to wash my hands once. The polish was uneven and the back on my nails were HORRIBLE. I wasted $40 there. Maybe everyone was having a bad day because no one smiled or was polite. I will never go back or recommend it to anyone. After that I went to another place to get them shortened, even the lady there said they did a bad job. It was called Maxi nails and the lady there was sweet.

Alvin, the owner is amazing. Everyone there is so kind and not rude like most nail salons I have experienced. They have a lot of patience when it comes to your wants and needs. I recomend Alvin’s sister, Lisa for pedicures – she massages your legs so well! Youngz Nails is super clean also, I never have to compromise with cleanliness!

Don’t usually do this but I know for me when Im looking for a good salon I want to hear from real people to see if I should go there. I am so particular about my nails and when I tried here I was finally happy. Al does such a good job I don’t feel rushed which a lot of nail salons do. They are fair with their prices and there nails actually last for more then 2 weeks. I would highly recommend this to anyone

Never disappointed when I come here ! Alvin is quick but very efficient. My nails last from 3 weeks to an easy month. Other places I will break a nail in under 2 weeks. Been coming here since they have opened. Best nail salon in Bayville!

After waiting another 20 minutes I asked how much longer and he told me he would only do 1 coat on my nails. My daughter and I dont live in the area we come to Ocean Gate to visit family…we have visited Youngz on a couple occasions in need of nail refills and pedicures while visiting .I have been very pleased with the nail techs they do great fast efficient work and make you feel welcomed no matter where you are from

It was ok. The waiting time was good. I did not have to wait although when I walked in the woman in the back did not greet anyone. We just all stood there. Nail tech was ok…not the best I’ve had but ok.
