I used Yehia in Oak Park for years and was excited to find out there was one near me in Country Club Hills. I went online to check the times. It states that they’re open on Sunday 9-5. A LIE! Another sign says on the side of the door that they’re open on Monday. ANOTHER LIE! I wasted 2 days trying to do a walk-in for a simple wash and curl. FINALLY, on Tuesday I drove there because it says that they’re open until 5 pm. THIS WAS THE 3RD LIE!!! A gentleman was there. I got there at 3:40 pm, he said they close at 4. I said to him that it’s 3:40. He replied that he already had 2 people and he wasn’t doing anyone else’s hair. I explained what I had been going through trying to get in and even offered to pay more if I could just get a wash and curl please. PLUS, it wasn’t 4:00 pm. He said NO and turned me away. THIS WAS A TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE. The times are wrong online and on the door. They really need to get it together. The Yehia I used to know was waayyyyy more professional than this. I’m very displeased with my experience.

I have curly hair that has grown to my back twice since I’ve retired. Yehia Hair Salon can blowout my curls and style my hair so beautifully that it looks like a wig. They have never damaged my hair. It’s always a treat to get my hair done there.

They lied pulling a piece from my review saying they did a good job on my color when they didn’t. That comment was for Mena’s! I was excited to get my hair colored. Reviews recommended Ayman…do not go to him. I called to schedule an appointment for Saturday at 8am. The receptionsst said he gets in by 9am. So based on his availability, I agreed to 9am. I inquired about the cost of cut and color and was told $250. I knew that was on the higher estimate if I had hair down my back. So I went in thinking I would spend $150 for color. I got to the Country Club Hills location at 9am. There was only one person there and he was washing hair put of the 4 ppl waiting for their stylist to arrive….that was redflag number one, but shortly after the stylist rolled in. Long story short, I waited not 30 mins but 50mins for Ayman. I was heated. I couldn’t imagine forking over my hard earned money after waiting almost an hr for him to show. As I walked out the door, my excitement was diminished and Ayman was pulling up. I left and went to Menas in Matteson. Mena’s did a wonderful job on my color and I didn’t have to wait at Mena’s. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO YEHIA’S IN COUNTRY CLUB HILLS AGAIN!
