Kayla was very informative and attentive. She did a great job lightening my hair! Also just want to say Cindy has cut mine and my husband’s hair on other visits and she does a great job and is very good with attention to details. I highly recommend this salon. It has a nice relaxed atmosphere and is very clean.

I have been going there for 4 years and have always had great service. Cindy is the best. I have just returned from a haircut and my first manicure there and both are highly recommended. I enjoy the conversation with Cindy and her professional matter in doing her job. Yankee Clipper offers many other services and I am sure they are all done well.

Critical: Professionalism, QualityI had a grown out A Frame hair cut. The last place I went screwed it up so I spent about 8 months growing it out so I could get it fixed. I went to Yankee Clipper to get a cut and dye. I sent pictures of what I wanted and asked if she could do it. She said yes. I got there, and my cut was not at all like the picture I showed her. She said she had to go super short because it was messed up. I had told her about the last place and I believe she used that as an excuse to my hair being so short…like i said i had spent 8 months growing it out. The dye is no where near the color I asked for. When I saw it I said it is shorter than I wanted and not the color I asked for. She said the color would lighten after a few washes and be what I wanted…I should have been more vocal then but I said it looks fine and I left. The next day I messaged her and told her I wasn’t really happy with it and I paid $120 and wanted what I paid for. She proceeded to become super defensive and blamed me. She said well I could have did the color you wanted but it would have fried your hair. Then you would be complaining about your hair being fried. A real professional wouldn’t have gotten defensive and blamed the client. She would have said come on back in and let’s get you fixed. I want you to be happy and get what you paid for. $120 is a lot of money and money doesn’t grow on trees!!! But she didn’t. She got angry at me. I wish there was a way to upload before and after pics, along with the pictures I sent her and asked if she could do it. I basically paid $120 for a $20 dollar hair cut and the color is pretty much non existent. All in all I am so sad that this happened the way it did. I asked first so if she would have said she couldn’t do that color or the haircut I would have understood and went somewhere else. It is so hard to find a hairdresser that will just be honest and tell you they can’t do something.Service: HairstylingI had a grown out A Frame hair cut. Pretty good they give great haircuts and for the most part people that go in there for dying their hair come out happy. However mysister went in to get her hair dyed and they messed it up it was supposed to be a nice blond and then somehow it became purple they did fix it however and my sister is very happy with the results just be aware of this.

I must say that Jackie, the massage therapist is 5 star. I’ve been going to her for almost a year and she is very good. She truly cares for her clients because I am one of them. Reasonable price. I highly recommend making an appointment with her. You can find her at Yankee Clipper in Mena.

Angela is a saint among stylists. I had my hair butchered by another woman in town and no one else was willing to help me out. Angela took me as a walk-in and not only fixed what the other lady messed up, but made my hair look even better than I had imagined. I highly recommend her.

If I could give 0 stars I would. The worst hair experience I have ever had in my life. My hair was chopped and carved into and made it almost impossible to get it fixed. And when I showed the stylist what she had done, she refused my money back so I could go elsewhere to get it fixed. 10/10 will not recommend or return again.
