Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Quality, ValueI had never been to Yana’s, but it’s close to my dad’s place and the reviews were positive, so I scheduled a haircut and beard trim for dad now that he is fully vaxed. We had a wonderful experience. Everyone was warm and welcoming, the space was very clean, and Maria did a fantastic job grooming my dad—in spite of the fact that he fell asleep in the chair, because he’s 84 and that’s what he does. He looked like a new man, and the smile on his face when he saw himself in the mirror was priceless. Well worth the price (which was quite reasonable, IMO). I had never been to Yana’s, but it’s close to my dad’s place and the reviews were positive, so I scheduled a haircut and beard trim for dad now that he is fully vaxed. We had a wonderful experience. Everyone was warm and welcoming, the space was very clean, and Maria did a fantastic job grooming my dad—in spite of the fact that he fell asleep in the chair, because he’s 84 and that’s what he does. She has installed all kinds of safety and hygiene devices and measures to insure that her clients will be protected from COVID-19 during the pandemic. The atmosphere there is unlike any barbershop I have been in before. Very comfortable surroundings. High class ambience. The barbers there (Yana & Tanya) are very friendly and highly skilled. They do a wonderful job of making your hair look great. They have an online booking service, which not only saves time, but also sends you reminder notices. Manicures & pedicures are also available in private areas. Their prices are reasonable and there is plenty of free parking available. I have been going to Yana for several years and she is the best experienced barber I have had. I highly recommend Yana’s Barbershop of Ravinia.Yana opened her own new shop on May 29, 2020 after Illinois allowed barbershops to reopen. She has installed all kinds of safety and hygiene devices and measures to insure that her clients will be protected from COVID-19 during the pandemic.
