The old lady during the day is quite rude. The bulbs are never changed. I tanned everyday for two months and had no change in color. They only allow tanning lotions that they sell.

Great tan spa. The girls are super sweet and helpful. Love that you don’t have to sign a contract and can either pay as you go or even better pay by the month for unlimited access. Lots of lotion choices. They do stand up, lay down beds and spray tans. As well as custom spray tans. Beds and facility are clean. Beds are well maintained and bulbs are routinely replaced.

I am EXTREMELY DISGUSTED with the behavior of the Manager of Xtreme Tan in Ellisville. I have been a long time client of Xtreme Tan, but not any longer. I encourage you all to use another salon for your tanning. The Manager is HIGHLY unprofessional, immature and simply not a nice person. My daughter and her friend WORKED there until just last week. My daughter is a young adult, so she needs to fight her own battles, but enough is enough. I am cancelling my membership and will not return as long as she manages. PLEASE CONSIDER GOING ELSEWHERE!!! We need to hit them in the pocketbook where it will hurt the most!

This is My Favorite Tanning Salon in St. Louis. Clean Tanning Beds and Salon & they Change the Bulbs accordingly. The reason I Keep Coming back is that the Staff are very Knowledgeable , Respectful and ecspecially FRIENDLY!!! I have tried other SALONS and am shocked at the way they Treat Clients. P.B. took TANNING sessions away and said they Expired, and even though i Paid for my Tans the employees would Tell me How long i could tan. Keep in mind i have worked in Salons and i am far from a Younger adult.. i was under the impression i Pay for Service, i get what i pay for.Really… My favorite is Tan Co.. I heard good and bad things about them. The Good was No where to be found. Hostile Manager, The 4 times I was there I tried 4 different Beds and all 4 had Bulbs out and I would bring wipes and and clean the Bed Again. I won’t go into the way I was Treated, Lets just say The Manager should work in a Prison. Her Customer Service was the WORST I have ever Experienced . Just wanted to Share all 3 stories to possibly help a Tanner make a really good decision . I give Tan Co. Minus stars, P.B. no stars, and Extreme Tan Stars off the Charts!!! I’ve been coming here for 2 years or so now. The staff are so friendly, knowledgeable, and always advise me on the best bed to use and time allotments based on how frequently I’ve been in the sun or tanning lately. Also one of the only places I have gotten an EXCELLENT versa spa tan. I only will get them here after negative experiences elsewhere.

OMG LOVE, LOVE LOVE this new location!!!!! Seriously GORGEOUS! Pristine inside, really great deals, and their beds are AWESOME!!!! Custom airbrushing isn’t really my thing, but I did it here before a wedding and she was AMAZING! Lasted like 6 days longer than it usually does!

This is the best place in St. Louis to get a spray tan! Not only because they use Norvell, but also because of the employees. Will is the best and most knowledgeable I’ve ever come across in the business! He’s professional, polite, and takes every appointment as seriously as the first. I highly recommend him!

I went here for my very first spray tan and opted for the airbrush tan where the person actually sprays you. She said to shower, shave, and exfoliate the night before. No moisturizer, the drier your skin the better. Because there is a bronzer in the spray solution so that she can see where she sprayed, I looked a lot darker than I actually ended up for the first 12 hours before I could shower. That made me nervous, but once I showered and all the bronzer rinsed off, my tan looked great. I have olive skin and the tan is extremely similar to my natural tan. My understanding is that this will last about 10 days. My plan is to have this done at the beginning of pool season again until I can establish my natural base tan. I would recommend this service to anyone whose skin gets tan.
