We moved to the northern part of Colorado about 11 months ago. We have been in search for a barber to cut our sons hair. The environment was pleasant. This small buisness is worth getting to know. Great skills. Competitive prices from what i can tell. Some water and sodas were in the lobby not sure if they were for sale or complimentary. Tv or music which ever you prefer. They were very personable and made everyone feel good.

I am originally from Dallas, Texas, where barbers are very often experts at what they do. Unfortunately Colorado doesn’t have nearly the same quality however, this is hands down the best haircut I’ve received in Colorado so far. Will definitely come back in a few weeks.

What an experience! It’s not just a haircut for James, he clearly takes great pride in what he does. My young son visited for a haircut, the vibe and artistry were wonderful. My boy doesn’t sit still very well but he was mesmerized by James and was a champ in the chair. We’ll be back every month!

Today I took the 6 year old twins to XAAK’s for the first time and what a great experience! James was awesome and great with the boys. We got a lesson on the history of the barber pole and the black barber pole. The boys got to choose whatever cut they wanted before getting a conservative haircut when school starts. Sheldon chose a Mohawk with little racing stripes. Leonard has a unique style and has begged for the Alfalfa cut. James was so accommodating and sweet to them. We will definitely be back!

Finally!!!…a barber that can cut my husband’s hair correctly and on the first visit. We’ve been looking for a barber as good as he had back home since we moved here 4+ years ago. His hair is curly and textured and not easy to cut. As an observer to the process, I am so highly impressed…James was very patient and listened to how my husband wanted his hair cut, how he wanted his beard trimmed and James spent a great deal of effort into every little detail to do exactly what was asked with perfection as the result. I should also add my husband is very happy with his haircut and beard trimming as well. We really enjoyed the laid back, comfortable and professional vibe we felt while we were there.

I just moved to Loveland, CO from NH and am very picky with my haircuts. So picky, that I haven’t got a cut in over 4 months. Anyway, James did my hair and one thing I really look for in haircuts is a good lineup. I don’t think you’ll find a better lineup in the Northern Colorado area.
