Had a wonderful experience at X Tattoo! My friend and I came in as walk ins. They were able to accommodate her same day and she was tattooed by Joe, I got one from KC the next day. Both tattoos are perfect and exactly what we wanted. We both love our new art! Shop atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, I appreciate their firm stance on inclusivity. 10/10 experience and will definitely be back!

Disappointed that after emailing photos of the space on my arm I was interested in tattooing with a theme I liked, my appointment was confirmed by the artist after we briefly discussed details, so I put down a deposit and then drove 2 hours on a torn ankle tendon only to show up and be told immediately that area would not work, which was what the artist was afraid of. If they were concerned when I sent in photos of my arm, I don’t understand why they couldn’t have asked for sizing in inches or told me to pick another theme either in a quick email or over the phone instead of confirming the appointment. I put down a non-refundable deposit and waited over a month until I showed up in person just to be told that it would not work. I sat in the front area for 2 hours trying to come up with something but I think if they would have let me know in the email instead of confirming I could have brainstormed something else in the month while I was waiting for an appointment instead of trying to make an on the spot decision so I wouldn’t waste my deposit. I have quite a few tattoos on my body and have never had a bad experience after booking an appointment. Really sad to have spent a whole day off, a deposit/gas money and the pain of driving several hours on my ankle to be immediately told what we agreed upon in an email wouldn’t work and to pick something else. I know everyone has bad days, but I think this could have been easily prevented.
