I’ve been going to Wynny for the last 4 years. She’s a dedicated and talent hairdresser stylist who has provided every service from simple men’s haircuts, to coloring, and styling. When I wanted to go from black hair to platinum blonde, Wynny made sure to keep my hair from turning brassy and falling out. When we weren’t yet comfortable to go to her shop during the pandemic, she brought her service to us. Thankfully we’re back to where she’s operating solely our of her shop again. She recently celebrated her 10th year in business and so many of her customers current and former came by to give their regards. That dedication is very telling what kind of business person and community member she is in addition to her straightforward approach to quality service.

After a salon in downtown Boston told me they wouldn’t put layers in my hair because it wouldn’t look good, I was disappointed. That’s how I’d been wearing my hair for years! I went in for a perm and came out with my hair fried and straight as a bone. I still had to paid $70. Instead of her admitting she was wrong and messed up my hair it was blamed on me. I “picked ” the wrong size curler and i supposably bleached my hair witch never happebed. I will never go here again. The only good part was the girl who was not even working on my hair sat and talked with me.

My daughter and I went to Wynny Hair Salon and had a wonderful experience. Wynny cut and colored my hair and it looks great! Best hair cut I have ever had. Wynny is awesome! I’ve been here several times over the last few years and always leave happy. Who doesn’t love a hair stylist who listens to what you want and gives you exactly that? She is very knowledgeable about the latest trends and techniques. The salon is very clean and comfortable. I highly recommend Wynny Hair Salon!

Wynny, has been cutting my autistic sons hair since he was 4 years old. He is now 15. We struggled for a while to get him to sit and relax anywhere else we went would get frustrated with him but from day one she was so patient with him. We have moved out of town and we still drive there to get his haircut. I would highly recommend her and all her staff are wonderful. Very friendly and affordable.

Wynny Hair Salon is a talented, efficient team of hair dressers, a warm and friendly staff, situated in a bright, pleasant, comfortable shop, where customers feel welcomed and valued. I’m a long time customer who followed Uyen from her previous place of employment, to her very own shop on Neponset Avenue. I remain a customer because not many stylists seem to know how to cut my kinky-curly hair in a way that brings out its best characteristics like Uyen. Not many stylists accommodate my crazy schedule, making time for me in short order and getting me in and out with a new hair duo in a short time. At Wynny, Uyen and Elizabeth listen to what the customer wants, discuss the pros and cons as they relate to the individual’s hair needs and help the customer make positive hair choices. Recommended highly!
