I went to see Mikey J at the shop yesterday for a skin fade for my growing flatop. And I left with a raw, not well blended sloppy cut. I’m not sure if it was b/c he was running a bit behind or the lack of experience with the style or texture of my hair but for a $35 cut and $7 tip I was disappointed and underwhelmed. He didn’t line/shape up the back of my neck, left a patch of hair behind my left ear and there wasn’t a good blend leading up to the top of my hair. Things could’ve been sharper, cleaner, & more precise overall. Typically barbers pick out the top of my hair to shape and trim my flatop and then blend in the sides, while completing the skin fade for a more cohesive style altogether. It’s just blah and sitting on top of my head. This was my 2nd time and unfortunately I won’t be back. My 1st time I had Randy but he no longer works there. For Black folks like myself coming from NYC things definitely need to be cleaner, sharper, and more precise. Its all about shape, blend and that line up. See (4) pics from yesterday and the pics of my other cuts from the past at different lengths…you’ll see the difference. Still on the hunt for a dope barber in Jersey.

Excellent Service. Both my boys came out looking sharp and both were very happy with their haircuts! (They are both picky). They took their time and executed nicely. When asked if they cut ladies hair, they were willing to give me a trim on the spot! And it came out excellent. I highly recommend WOB. Haircut

I was traveling and needed a haircut. I wanted to give this barber shop a try. As soon as I walked in, this place had a very friendly atmosphere. My barber was James. He listened to all my requests and did my hair exactly how I wanted. He’s the going-extra-mile kind, made sure hair, fade everything was even and nothing sticking out. Their services were well priced. Wish this place was near me.

I had an appointment with Randy and He was very poor in cutting my hair. I showed him the picture of last cut and asked if he can do the same. He agreed but job he he did was nowhere near to what I showed him or expecting. In fact the basic cutting was not done properly. The guy doesn’t even know how to give hard partition. Moreover appointment was for haircut and rinse but no rinse or wash was done. Will never come here again

This is my first time here. I called in for an appointment but was told I can walk-in. When I walked in, I was immediately attended to by Qwan. He was very nice to talk to and quickly understood what I needed to get done. He went a step ahead and proposed an alternative solution if I wasn’t 100% sure after the cut. I was pleasantly surprised he said he offered to do that given it would have taken additional time and effort for him. Regardless, the cut came out perfect and it was exactly how I envisioned. This is now my goto place and I’d definitely recommend it to others. Price is reasonable. Place is clean, smells nice and good music. Tools used were pretty good. Thank you again Qwan.

May I give 0 stars? Had an appointment for 4pm. Arrived at 3:55. Was told Randy was too backed up and asked if I minded going with another barber. One of two people sitting in back stood up and volunteered while the other kept playing NBA 2k without moving. Why neither were already cutting hair to help with backlog is beyond me. While the young man proceeded to cut my hair, I learned through his own sharing that he was not licensed, still in hair cutting school and it was his first day on the job. All things that would’ve made me say NO when asked if I wanted another barber.

Little bit of a language barrier. I spoke compete sentences and wasn’t sure I was being understood. I didn’t like that the whole beard cut was with clippers, a few weeks grown out, and it all feels uneven and choppy. Hair buzz was beyond my natural tan line, so that’s never so fantastic. They were nice-but I felt like an outsider the whole time. Prices are beyond reasonable; so that was nice. A shame though. I was hoping to make this place a possible go-to regular shop. I wish them well. Just wasn’t a good fit with me.
