These photos are just some of the “let me see your new haircut!” selfies I have taken after seeing Myles over the years. He is amazing—I moved to Montecito a year ago, tried 2 people there, and now very happily make the drive to see Myles. I have never had better haircuts, a better hairdresser, and a better time! His assistant Jungko is a treat as well. Even if we move further, I will make the trip on happy little wings!

Leslie was amazing! Super patient, friendly, and very knowledgeable & informative about hair— and very talented!!! She gave my 14 year old a great cut and took the time to teach her how to style it (with the products and tools we already have and from her perspective/angle. She also helped us understand her hair type and best types of shampoo and BP’s for washing hair (who knew I have washed hair wrong my whole life! Doh!).

Last May, Leslie gave me the shortest haircut I’ve ever had and I sure I’d have to go back in a couple of months for a trim.

I’ve been seeing Emma for Balayage for years now, and she knocks it out of the park every time. She’s a wonderful colorist and stylist who’s always able to give me low maintenance color that grows out beautifully, and doesn’t damage my long hair. This salon is comfortable, easy to find, and parking is always easy to find. The rates are reasonable, and I can’t imagine not seeing Emma for the foreseeable future.

Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Quality, ValueI enjoy this salon because it’s convenient to where I live and work — but the real reason I go is for Miles. He’s a very talented hairstylist and I just trust him. He always knows how to make me look and feel good. Go!Services: Hairstyling, Haircut

Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueI received the best haircut of m’damb life at this salon on Wednesday! I booked an appointment with Emma and was looking for a haircut that would be gender affirming for me(non-binary amab).I wanted a 70s style shag with a fringe. Emma planned it out very thoughtfully and made me feel really good about it every step of the way. Even halfway through the haircut I looked gorgeous but Emma wasn’t even done yet!!After this haircut I looked in the mirror and finally saw myself in it. When I got home I looked at it again and got emotional. Even after an ugly cry, I still looked hot somehow lol! I’ve never experienced gender euphoria like that and am still in a state of bliss.Emma was extremely smart, and taught me stuff about hair I hadn’t thought to ask. Apparently some of my hair follicles are oval shaped, and she taught me how to work with that. Not only did I get a life changing haircut, but also learned how to replicate the curls and stuff at home!Took a bunch of selfies and posted them on social media and recieved roaring applause. It was a great coming out moment for me. A bunch of people asked for hair recommendations – I told all of them Emma H at Workshop Salon on Beverly!ALSO, they carry female owned brands! With have a great selection of natural and vegan hair products. Also Emma is hot and dresses really well lol. 6 out of 5 stars Services: Hairstyling, HaircutI received the best haircut of m’damb life at this salon on Wednesday! I love getting my haircut at Workshop Salon. I followed “hair master” Rick Farber (never disappoints!) here from another salon and I love what the owner Colleen has done with the place. Great ambiance, refined and boutique-like decor, and excellent staff and stylists (Myles and Junko are amazing too). Definitely recommended!
