Critical: Professionalism, PunctualityCalled and was asked to make an appointment which I did. Arrived 4 minutes before appointment and was told Judy would be right with me. 15 minutes later Judy finished up and left the shop. After 20 minutes I asked one of the free barbers if making an appointment and then waiting more than 20 minutes was normal. He asked who my appointment was with. When I told him he pointed outside and said, “There she is, sitting outside on the bench!”I understand needing a break but how about some simple communication?This is a Mickey Mouse organization. Called and was asked to make an appointment which I did. Arrived 4 minutes before appointment and was told Judy would be right with me. 15 minutes later Judy finished up and left the shop. After 20 minutes I asked one of the free barbers if making an appointment and then waiting more than 20 minutes was normal. He asked who my appointment was with. Critical: Cleanliness, ProfessionalismVery rude and made me feel immediately unwelcome. There was some sort of mix-up with my appointment, which was made through their online system. I never found out what exactly the problem was because the older woman working immediately took an aggressive tone and sat another walk-in before me. She then loudly, in front of other customers, said “I don’t know what to say” to me and turned her back. I walked straight out and will not be back to this chain. Not what I’ve come to expect in the Villages. The shop looked pretty dirty and disorganized as well.Very rude and made me feel immediately unwelcome. Very rude and made me feel immediately unwelcome. There was some sort of mix-up with my appointment, which was made through their online system. I never found out what exactly the problem was because the older woman working immediately took an aggressive tone and sat another walk-in before me. She then loudly, in front of other customers, said “I don’t know what to say” to me and turned her back. I walked straight out and will not be back to this chain.
