My son wanted a great cut, so my man recommended Wooten Barber Shop! Located on Guadalupe Street near the hub of all the UT activity sits this great little barber shop. Ask for Don if you go, he was patient, kind, and asked a lot of questions…giving my son top notch service and even topping the experience off with a hot towel. He has been cutting hair for 26 years in the same location! An experience in hair artistry you do not want to miss out on!

Doug is the absolute best. I’m extremely picky about who cuts my hair. The first time I got a haircut from Doug, I immediately knew I would come back. I’ve now been getting my haircut by him weekly for 4 months and have never left disappointed. He takes the time to figure out what haircut you want and will cut your hair accordingly. He takes the time to study your hair to make even the most complicated haircuts work for your hair type and growth pattern. His haircuts are also extremely well-priced. He could even get away with charging more for the quality you receive.

Great experience. Great price, $28 bucks. Great timing, no waiting. Doug is great. Gave me great clean-up haircut. Hadn’t had one in 3 months. Along with great conversation, you get a little shoulder massage, and a bottle of water! It’s a terrific, old-style cut in a very pleasant atmosphere.

Took my 17 year old son for a TRIM. My son has curly hair and this man gave him a military style haircut. My son told him to cut an inch off. He proceeded to hack off all of his hair. When I tried to protest, he became very agitated and snapped at me. Horrible experience. Haircut

Best barber shop in Austin. These guys are professionals who have a passion for their work and very friendly service too. I gave Wooten Barber Shop a try a few months ago and Doug did an excellent job at tailor making my haircut instead of the plain old clipper-cut that I used to get. Now, it still looks great even after growing out for 6+ weeks, which I never had in the past. Wooten is my go-to place for an excellent haircut.
