This spa is in a beautiful location and is set up very nicely inside. Upon checking in, I was offered a drink and a seat in the quiet room with a view of the river. I booked a waxing appointment and the woman was very professional and had a nice set up. When I got home, I realized that there were strips of hair that were missed. I called the spa and they got me in the next day to clean it up free of charge (which I appreciate), but there were still parts missed. I will likely go back to Woodhouse for a massage service because the ambience is so great, but I would not recommend getting waxed here.

Wow, what a great day spa! Wonderful atmosphere – you decompress just coming through the door. Robes are luxurious and the waiting room right on the river was super relaxing. We went for mother daughter massages and we both loved our massage and our massage therapists. We will be returning to be pampered again! Highly recommend!

Extremely disappointed with this service . We have spend over $5,000+ with them, and one of the last times we were there for our anniversary they cancelled on us for a whole day engagement, while we were already in the waiting room. 30 minutes passed and we had to ask them about the appointment only to find out that it was cancelled and we weren’t notified. To make matters worse, the supervisor was extremely rude, and needs to find another job outside of customer experience and hospitality. We have own our own bed and breakfast and have been referring all of our visitors over to this spa, and we will stop immediately after realizing the management has extremely, extremely poor desire to hear our and care for their top customers, and a big source of referrals. Extremely disappointed and if you care about your experience, and you want to be able to just relax and enjoy… I highly recommend you think twice about booking this spa. This has been a nightmare of an experience, and I highly recommend you look for some other place to book.

What a wonderful and relaxing experience! I had been in before for their pedicures, but hadn’t been back in a while. I went and had a hot stone and dry brush oil massage with Carmen, and it was fantastic! Every detail is meant to soothe and relax you, and they succeed!

This was my third visit to woodhouse spa for a massage over the past 2 years. This was my first experience that I walked out feeling disappointed. I was warmly welcomed and taken to the locker room where I was asked what beverage I would like. I changed and went into the waiting room where I sat waiting for my drink and weighted neck pillow for 15 minutes. The gentleman to my left ended up calling the front of the spa to request my drink. I waited an additional 5 minutes before I was served. Moments later my masseuse came out letting me know it was my turn. I hadn’t taken more than 2 sips of my drink, after intentionally showing up 30 minutes early. My “deep tissue” massage felt like an oil rub, although my masseuse was thorough. He had initially asked if I would like additional pressure, to which I responded yes. The massage felt weak, even after having asked for additional pressure. I had booked an appointment for my mother for the following week, but I’m not sure I’ll recommend keeping the appointment after my experience. I want to walk out feeling like I paid for the massage, not for the view in the waiting room.

I give it two stars because it is a beautiful facility, however, the massage was mediocre. If you’re looking for relief from stress and sore muscles, this isn’t the place. It was more like having an oil rub than a massage.
