(11/10/2022) I had my first visit to Woodhouse Spa. While not my first day spa experience, it was my first time with them. I visited their Dublin location and tried the Calming Retreat. My technician, Rose, was wonderful. She quickly (and pleasantly) established guidelines for how to communicate with each other. And she took care, throughout the session, to check in on temperatures, pressure, and my comfort level – without ruining the atmosphere or overall experience.

Single massage in a double room that was really cold. Asked for more pressure during massage and did not get that. After being guided to the change room, I felt left, meaning when I walked out to leave there were two employees standing there speaking amongst one another but never spoke a word to me I was a little confused as to what I should do there was a lady on the elevator cleaning it I didn’t know if I should wait or what. So I stood there waiting and when the elevator came back up I just got on. No one on the 2nd floor said anything as I left. The receptionist asked how everything went I simply said “um it was okay I guess” I paid and left. I expected royal treatment from start to end. For my room not to be cold and the tech to comply with my request of pressure. I felt like she was literally rubbing me with oil. Definitely not top tier. I won’t be returning. I gave 3 stars because everyone was great at making me feel welcomed and catered too. Minus my massage and not being catered to upon leaving the experience was nice.

Our daughter bought my husband and I a $250 gift card here for our birthdays. I booked a deep tissue massage for us both in the same room. The cost of their deep tissue is $140 each. Somehow we walked out owing $51. My massage gal was very hard to understand, she spoke too fast and kept her head down.. The massage was mediocre at best. (my husband agreed for his also) There was deep tissue at my neck and a bit on upper back. The rest felt like just rubbing lotion on me. She spent 1 minute and 10 seconds on each foot, did very little to my arms and legs. For as expensive as this was. The gal left the room and the door slammed right in the middle of our massage. The massage was not worth what they charge.. My husband agreed his massage was not great either. I’ve had most excellent massages for much less. Wish my daughter had read the reviews before buying this.

Most underwhelming experience ever. This was my first time being here also my first time getting a massage. I got an expensive package, Definitely not worth $300. I don’t feel like I got a proper body massage, I just felt like the masseuse was just touching me rather than massaging me. My friend told be about her experience and it sounded spectacular, so I thought i’d give it a try, but it was just very very underwhelming and not like how my friend described. I was not offered a locker room to place my belongings or a robe or was even told there was a waiting room. It’s overhyped, and I don’t recommend anyone trying unless you like wasting your money. I felt as if I was treated like a peasant. Terrible experience Not coming back again.
