Great first time experience! The ladies at the front counter made me feel welcome and calm, even after a crazy traffic backup made me push it close to my appointment time. The relaxation room is great, the robes are super comfy, and Stephanie was a terrific esthetician for the facial. I highly recommend checking them out!

Went with a group and had very different experiences as the massage therapist themselves makes such a difference. The receptionist is very nice and friendly and set us up for a great experience with drinks of choice. The facility is nice with nice robes etc. Some of the group loved their experience but a couple of us had a less than satisfactory massage therapist. Mine as an example sat on her stool to do the massage for most of it until I said something. She used very limited pressure and just rubbed oil around and the hot stones with what seemed like limited technique compared to other massages I have had before. I spoke up a few times and parts got better but then reverted to me just wanting the experience to end. To charge $190 I would have hoped for a more skilled massage therapist. I share that in case you are able to choose someone else you may have a better massage.

The entire experience at Woodhouse Spa is phenomenal. From the front desk friendliness to the plush robes to the quiet room…it’s all AMAZING. I’ve been to other spas in the Alpharetta area, and nothing else compares to Woodhouse. You will NOT be disappointed if you visit this place. Expect to be pampered and loved on.

Treat yourself, you won’t regret it. Nice ambience, friendly staff and importantly, knowledgeable service providers. Every one that has give me service from facials, to body treatments to massages have been fantastic with great results. It’s a little pricier than average but totally worth it, in my book.

I’m a huge fan of spas and have been performing mystery shops at spas worldwide for many years. I must say I had one of the most amazing experiences at the Woodhouse Spa in Avalon. I used to visit the Woodhouse Spa in Dunwoody since it’s closer to me, but this facility quickly became my favorite! From the time I stepped into the spa, Nancy at the reception was exceptionally welcoming, friendly and even went above and beyond to comfort me as I was going through some rough times during my first visit. My masseuse, Lana was very professional, efficient and worked to relieve some of my muscle tensions. She even provided some simple stretching exercises after the treatment, which I found beneficial. Overall, I was extremely pleased with the personalized and caring service. The facility was well-maintained, amenities well-thought and kudos to the staff for ensuring a safe environment by executing protocols such as mask mandate, temp check and minimal contact.

I sent my wife here as a birthday gift and she said that it was the worse massage she’s ever had. It seemed as though her service provider was either very inexperienced or just not good at her craft. Even when my wife asked about having a towel to cover her eyes (standard practice) she replied that she would need to go “ask her manager”. What? Her technique was also lacking – like she was just rubbing the oil on with no actual massage pressure or technique. My wife did not feel relaxed at all. For $200 and a what is supposed to be a luxury quality experience – this was an extreme let down. We will certainly never book with this place again – and likely won’t at any location.
