Let me start by saying I was a walk in and a first timer. I had asked to make an appointment but I was told that I can just walk in. I called early for a mani pedi but instead only received a manicure. Although my cuticles were cut at no extra cost, the service I got was lacking. I received an acrylic overlay when I asked for a full set. No tips were used, when I wanted the nail extension. I hadn’t even been asked if I wanted nail tips. The process took some time and I was only half happy in the end. The nail tech Chris was kind, and I was appreciative of that, but I was really displeased with the way he did my nails. They were all different shapes and lengths, he got up from his chair for a moment long enough for me to grab his nail file and fix them myself. (I thought I was receiving a service, I have never had to fix my own nails in shop to leave half pleased) after having them painted I gained a bit more confidence in the way the process was executed. I was so upset but not enough to cause drama. After the clear coat I was put under the UV lamp, which I assumed would dry my polish, only to leave the lamp with my nails smudged and gummy, I also received absolutely no cuticle oil. The service looked sloppy. I could have cried, again, not upset enough to cause drama… walking up to the counter to pay for my service (I wasn’t aware I was done because I asked for a pedicure and was told I could walk in) I paid for my lack there of service and asked “what about the pedicure, you said you had time” to which he replied “pedicure? No you’d have to come back at 6” let me stress that I called early, and was told I could walk in, I was willing to make the appointment to receive both services, the shop was empty when he told me that he wasn’t free until 6… I was very displeased. Not only for the service but or the fact that I was told to come back 7 hours later for a service I asked twice for (once on the phone and again in person) I was willing to spend money for both services and tip accordingly…. I tipped anyway in good taste but left upset. My experience was not what I’d had hoped it to be…
