Kelly is a fabulous stylist and I can’t say enough about how wonderful she is. Not only does she have a keen eye for colors and hue, she also helps you with hair styles that work for your features and lifestyle. She will always take great care in not damaging your hair and be honest about what your hair can endure color and style-wise. She is also great fun to talk to and shows such compassion and care to her clients. At my recent appointment she saw a client crying because a previous stylist had ruined her hair—Kelly was there in an instant consoling her and reassuring her they could fix the damage. Her new salon is beautiful and has a great ambience that is peaceful, cozy, and just lovely. I’ve been a client for almost 10 years and have never been disappointed. I’m honored not only to be Kelly’s client but also her friend.

Kelly is one of the best stylists in Chico. Her new salon is absolutely gorgeous and I know she worked super hard to get here. She is always concerned about the health of the hair and would never push the hair to the point of damage which I super appreciate. She is personable and easy to get along with. She has an eye for color and hues. She keeps up to date on continuing education and has a real passion for hair, which is really important in this industry. I took my daughter in for a haircut a few months back (she’s four) and while waiting for the stylist to be ready for her my daughter grabbed a cookie that was out with other snacks. The owner flipped out, took the cookie out of her hand and stated the snacks were only for clients getting lengthy services, which I understand but then during the cut her husband brought her children in and they went full rein on the same snacks. Owner was very unprofessional & unnecessarily rude. Will not be back to this location and was deeply disappointed. As a single father it was truly upsetting to have my daughter treated that way especially by someone who also has children.

The “did you use this business” question I was asked before writing this review is interesting because I tried to but didn’t get the opportunity to. I made an appointment at 9:30 and told her I needed to leave for school at 10:30. At 9:20 when I showed up to try to be a little early the door was locked. I sent her a message on Instagram letting her know I was there. At 9:40 I sent her a text and at 9:45 when she still wasn’t there I had to leave because again I had school. I checked her Instagram and saw she had posted a story at 9:15. I’ve been having a tough week and a full schedule with work and school and was really excited to get my haircut in my limited free time so this was really disappointing for me. I’m writing this at 10:10 and still haven’t heard back.
