Normally when I write a review, I write it because of an excellent experience I had at that business. However, I have had sub optimal work done at wonder nails in Beaverdam both times I have visited there. Unfortunately, the dip manicure I had done on a Tuesday was falling off in my hand by Saturday. When I stopped in at 10:00 am on Saturday, they were of course busy… it’s Saturday, that’s normal and I expected that. When I quietly told the staff that I needed my manicure redone because it had fallen off they told me to pick a color. I did that and then waited for a short time. While looking around I realize there were at least five people still waiting for services. At that point I decided I did not have enough time to wait. I quietly asked the woman who did my manicure if it was possible to just have a refund because I realize they are busy and I did not have much time. She referred me to a gentleman and he told me that I could come back another day and they would fix it but they refused to give me a refund of $40 for my manicure that fell off in four days. Four days…dip manicures are supposed to last 2 weeks.

My mom and I both got our nails done for my sister wedding this weekend! We had the best experience. I got acrylic nails and my mom got dip, we also got pedicures. We were in and out in an hour and a half. Highly recommend!!! Manicure, Acrylic nails, Dip powder, Pedicure

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueSTAY away!!!I am not new to manicures. In fact I have one every couple of weeks. How do I describe the experience I had…technicians are VERY VERY RUDE AND UNFRIENDLY. The actual service lasted less then 10 mins!*She used the ridiculously smallest dollop of lotion. It was not moisturizing at all and she rubbed it in so fast. What ever minuscule amount of lotion had “0” effect in softening my hands. I asked for more lotion and it was clearly an inconvenience to her..* Check out my cuticles in the photos I attached. They do not use a cuticle oil or remover.*Then I chose my polish from what they had to offer. When she applied it I could see it was thinned with something. Within a day it had chipped.NO CUSTOMER SERVICE!When I complained about the quality of my service at the register; that my middle finger had sharp edges and showed her had her look at how horrible my cuticles looked she only had EXCUSES. “My nails were too short…I would bleed”. I think if she had any interest in maintaining customers she would have actually not argued with me but she would have tried to fix whatever I was not satisfied with. She never offered to try to fix my nails, which is really what I wanted! I should have insisted but did not want to cause a commotion. Plus she was too busy on her mobile phone. I was just an inconvenience to her. The worst part is it was early afternoon. There were no other clients waiting. No need to be in a hurry and treat me with such disrespect. It was an $18 rip off and BEWARE they automatically include a tip. They must know their customers leave without wanting to give extra penny in gratuity to their technicians. It left me with such feelings of regret that I didn’t ask for my money back.Signed,DMWTSService: ManicureSTAY away!!!I am not new to manicures. Started off scheduling with ease. When we walked in we were directed to the Polish and right into the pedicure. Handed a menu of options. It was a good experience, I wished it lasted longer. The massage was excellent. When done with Pedi, I was directed to the nail bar where I had my mani. My nails look great. Thank you again Wonder Nails!

I know they have been in business a long time. This ‘new’ salon looks beautiful but the service is really the worst. I had a pedicure. The owner was taking care of me. He was on Facetime on his phone the whole time. As it ended up I had a chunk taking out of my toe with his clippers. I am diabetic which is why I went to the salon to be extra careful. I had to go to the doctor to be sure I didn’t have a problem! It wasn’t a small chunk and I limped for days. They should ata least ‘look’ at what they are doing and not be on the phone Facetime with someone. Othertimes I have to agree that there is no conversation or friendliness. English is a second language for them but try! Their children also work there (now grown) They can speak clearly, They just don’t. I also agree on the wait time and over booking. That one will start your proceedure and someone else will finish. What is that!! I’m not ever going back nor is my friend I normally meet up with. I wish I didn’t have to give this review.

Terrible work done here! My friend got a full set of acrylic nails and they ended up crooked, and they charged her $65 when last time it was $50! They are super judgmental as well! I do not recommend this place!! Acrylic nails

Walked in for a pedicure. Wait time was minimal, staff was friendly and greated me upon walking in. Salon is clean and atmosphere is welcoming. Got a great pedicure and I am happy with the results. Will be back again!

I’ve been going here for awhile. FIRSTLY the technicians are not friendly. They will not say anything to you when you walk, they keep their noses down and then tell you to sit down. If you make an appointment please understand you will NOT be worked on for 30-1hour because they overbook. One technician will start your nails and another will finish. They are rushed and usually make my nail beds bleed and hurt. SOMETIMES they will do a very good job but mostly it’s a rushed process. They will not talk to you at all the entire time, which whatever. You can only tip cash and do not have an ATM. The place is nice but horrible customer service but maybe that’s the language barrier… probably not because I’ve had much nicer workers at other places.I scheduled for a mani pedi today. Gave myself two hours here so I had time to get to work and will probably have to reschedule the pedi because they are so far behind. Not happy.

Work is amazing, however, making people wait 30 to 45 minutes after scheduled appointment time is unacceptable, especially to people who were working all day and don’t have alot of time to spare. If the appointments take precedence over walk ins, I’ll be back but sadly I don’t see that happening anytime soon. I loved my nails and the staff, but my time is also valuable (Time is Money).
