The lady who worked on me burned my hair, it’s absolute toast. It’s ruined, my hair is super long, now I have to get a short cut after years of letting my hair grow. Mind you, I paid over $300 for this service. Stay away, you can see the bad ratings. Not worth it at all! Balayage

I am so happy that I found Wiso Hair Salon!! I am new to Greenville and was very worried about finding a salon that was professional and trustworthy and could give me the treatment and style that I was looking for. I found all of that at Wiso. Mary Wiso the owner is professional and friendly and I enjoy getting my hair done in her shop. I really couldn’t have found a better salon than Wiso and I would recommend it to anyone!!!

The lady who cut my hair said she could do it (mind you I was cautious because I am white and know this salon is targeted toward black women but my roommate insisted it would be fine) she used literal craft scissors to cut the hair. Cut it unevenly. Almost burned my ears with the flat iron. And then had the audacity to try to charge $70. For literally just cutting and straightening my hair. She gave me a $5 discount and acted like it was so gracious. Will definitely not be returning this place.

I went to get a crochet style with a stylist at this salon. To start off the stylist was a little late and brought her children with her. The stylist didn’t know what all my services consisted of and I had to tell her it included a shampoo. There is a disconnect of lack of communication between the owner and stylists. The stylist did not condition my hair which had me side eyeing if was was a licensed beautician. Now she did ask me what I normally do to my hair like heat and edge control so that was good. Next she blow dried my hair with a comb and blow dryer. No parting. No sections. Just combing my fro. Smh. I told her how many braids I wanted since she didn’t ask or let me know how many she thinks would be a good fit for my head. The crocheting part wasn’t bad and looks pretty natural however I wish the ends were better tucked or hidden. This salon isn’t up to par for me. The stylist was nice. Overall, these flaws can not be ignored. I will not be back even though I liked the outcome of the style itself the process to get the end result wasn’t the best. Also they didn’t know how much the style cost so I probably could have told them anything. I should done more research but this was sort of last minute before a trip and I’m not from this area. Try it out if you want but go at your own risk.

Worst experience . I was desperate to get my hair done. All the other places that I want to get my hair done did not do natural hair so I saw that this place was open and I called ask the owner how much it would be to get a blowout she said $45 OK so once I get there I have to wait a good hour for the stylist which was Jennifer to say that her price was 60 and that the manager does not know her prices. I was so desperate to get my hair done but Jennifer will get a attitude if I she would have to repeat herself because I didn’t understand what she was talking about Then all she did was gossip and talk trash about the other stylus and the manager I will never go back there and I will never deal with Jennifer she is the worst unprofessional stylist ever

This was the worst I have ever experienced at a salon. The owner told me the price for cuts was $15 So I go there and the person who cut my hair did the total opposite of what I wanted. She was just chopping away. Which I should’ve never!! Paid!! Then after I was finished I went to the front to pay, the owner charged me $35! Which was supposed to be $15. The girl didn’t even cut my hair the way I wanted and they over charged me. I will never step foot in that place again!

Stay AWAY FROM this salon…RIP OFF CENTRAL!!!! LORD KNOWS DO NOT APPLY TO BE A STYLIST THERE YOU WILL NOT GROW…I wish I could give this place a ZERO OR NEGATIVE STARS. The first owner Lila was really a piece of work but fir the most part it’s safe to say she is a liar. The second owner Mary was very sweet but gullible.
