She was thorough and detail oriented, and didn’t seem to skimp on product or time (it took 5 hours, but well worth it). My naturally wavy hair came out pin straight; one week later and my hair remains straight with no blow drying necessary. Elsy was excellent. I had the full Magic Sleek hair treatment with cut and blow out. She was thorough and detail oriented, and didn’t seem to skimp on product or time (it took 5 hours, but well worth it). My naturally wavy hair came out pin straight; one week later and my hair remains straight with no blow drying necessary. Critical: Professionalism, QualityI purchased a Groupon for Magic Sleek Express. When I called to make the appointment I asked how long I would be there and they said it depends on the length of my hair and long hair would be extra. I said I had long hair when I booked appointment. When I arrived today and met my stylist she explained to me how magic sleek worked and since I had long hair it would cost extra … which I totally expected and agreed to the extra charge. My process started and everything seemed ok…when we got to the part where my hair was blow dried and then straightened with a flat iron my stylist didn’t talk to me for almost 2 hours until she told me that she was not washing out the product in my hair. At that point she had seemed annoyed by my long hair and the time it was taking her. I left with a greasy stringy head of hair. Marie (the boss) came over and told me I didn’t purchase the Groupon that would include washing my hair. The other Groupon options included hair cuts. I did not want a hair cut. She told me this is how Magic Sleek Express is done. This is the end of the process. I should go home and wash my hair. So bottom line… if you get Magic Sleek Express here I was told by Marie that this how it’s done. You leave the salon like this. (This photo was taken hours later bc I had appointments and errands to run and I expected to leave with decent hair not greasy hair. You are now 100% lying that she offered to wash and blow my hair out for discounted rate of $20. That was never offered to me. She said I could pay extra to wash and blow my hair .. but after her clearly being annoyed my service was taking too long .. and Marie you came over and said .. wow she has a lot of hair, I will have to call your next client to push them back. It was obvious that you didn’t want me to stay for a wash and blow out or I would’ve paid for it. Washing the product out of my hair should have been free. I would’ve left with a wet head of hair and that would have been better. Marie- you told me washing the product out of my hair was not included. I NEVER asked for something for free.
