Ashlyn is amazing! She was friendly and skilled! I went in with box dyed chestnut brown hair that’s been fading. Wanted to get back to blonde and try to go for some purple strands as well. Was not expecting to be able to do it all in one session. I made an appointment at Wink with Amber when I was staying with my daughter for six weeks. Amber was fantastic, the best stylist I have ever gone to. I said she could do what she wanted to make my hair more modern She cut my hair to fit my age, face shape and perfectly. For the first time in years I did not have to go home and restyle it to get what I wanted. The salon has wonderful decor and everyone makes you feel right at home. I am back in Minnesota, only wish I could clone Amber and the salon here. May have to visit my daughter more often just to get my hair cut. Amber you are the BEST!

Been going here for years and I’ve never had a bad experience. Strangers on the street ask me where I get my hair done on a fairly frequent basis, and I always send them over to Wink. I love most that it’s not stuffy or snobby. It’s so laid back and friendly, and you still get the high quality hair cut that you would get at an Aveda salon. Highly recommend.

I moved to the Virginia Beach area not too long ago and needed to find a new salon to get my hair done. Some of my co-workers recommended Wink Salon; they said they had a great experience on the other side. I was hesitant at first because I had difficulty in the past with my type of hair. I had my first appointment with Nan, which was a cut, and subsequent appointments with Matt and Claire, they were all great! Now, I go regularly to get my hair done with Nan, since she did such a superb job with my cut and style the first time around. I highly recommend Wink if you are looking for a laid-back, retro atmosphere with personable stylists who are extremely professional. Be ready for some awesome music and impressive work on the other side. I was defintely Wowed!

Nan is THE BEST EVER!!! Nino is amazing as well. Very courteous staff! I always feel welcome and they always offer water or coffee. Everyone there is so nice! I have hair extensions and they are extremely difficult to place and remove, work with, position and cut. Nan knows what she is doing. She also colors my hair and the color matches the extensions EXACTLY! She is truly gifted! I love this place so much I recommended it to a very picky friend who wanted an edgy cut she saw in a magazine. She got exactly what she wanted and loves this place too! I give it all the stars in the sky for my review. LOVE!

I have been going to Megan at Wink Salon for as long as I can remember…I went to begin with because my very “up to date” and stylish daughter, along with all her friends go there and have the most beautiful hair cuts & color (totally up to date) I have ever seen. I am a former hairdresser myself & did hair for over 20yrs and am very cautious about other stylists. The salon is clean, friendly, accommodating and 100% informative! While Megan was out on maternity leave, I saw another stylist & the service was just as fabulous! The stylists at Wink regularly attend hair shows/classes and keep up to date on the latest trends as well as product knowledge & any & all new methods of cut/color or they do not work there. They are held up to very high expectations & deliver. Again, I am a young 53, very stylish & my daughter, along with all her friends go to Wink. They can & do accommodate all ages & races. If by chance something isn’t right or what the client expected, they are willing to re-do it at no charge. Located in the prime of Hilltop & go far above & beyond the game!
