After our old barber moved I asked for recommendations for kids cuts. Both my boys have typical come over/hard part fade haircuts. Jordan was recommended by quite a few moms in my community. So we drove the 55 miles to see him. My 3 yr old went first and his hair was so awful. Jordan cut him in a 2 the entire way up his head and left this weird bowl cut around the top with a huge fluff in the back. By the time I noticed it was too late to do anything. There’s no fixing it because it’s already way to short. There’s clipper lines all in his hair. To make matter worse, we have family pictures coming up that I think I need to cancel. His hair is so awful! My teenager was terrified to go next but I promised him we’d be VERY CLEAR on what we wanted and didn’t. We had him barely take any hair off so he didn’t end up bald also.

I really wanted to give a good review, but I was not impressed. I booked an appointment online for my son. His hair was very long, and he was ready for a change. When we got there, there were a couple of people standing at the front desk, the lady, waved us around and asked for the name. I assume this was checking us in. She then told us to have a seat. She then went back to her cut that she was working on. We arrived 15 minutes before our scheduled appointment. 45 minutes later, she apologized for running late and took my son to the chair. In that 45 minutes, I observed her meticulously cutting a gentleman’s hair with scissors, to get it perfect on the top. No communication at all to me, that she was running late. She also answered the phone, spoke with and assisted the other barbers with the ipad system. It felt like she was the only one who knew how to use the system. When my son finally got in her chair, she quickly glanced at the photo he had for inspiration. Then began shaving off the back of his hair. It took about a half hour. Again, she continually left the chair to handle other things in the shop. In the end, he was left with a choppy layered mess in the back. Much shorter than he wanted. Because he is young, he didn’t say anything. When we got home, he was very upset. We ended up having to have the hair cut again, so that he felt confident. Many times while we waited, I thought of just getting up and walking out. The overall feel was very disorganized, and somewhat rude. I should have listened to my instincts. Overall, I would say that this shop is probably great if you are looking for a fade, and wanting very short hair. Other than that, I would suggest going elsewhere.

My husband and son have been loyal to lucky’s since we moved here in 2020. Today will be our last trip. Though there are many friendly faces, the lady who runs it has officially drove us to look elsewhere. She is rude. We waited so long and when I took the initiative to get my son in another chair that was OPEN (because it had been 15 mins past our booking time), she felt the need to dictate, making all involved feel extremely uncomfortable. Mind you, if I didn’t book something correctly, they would not take the time to do what we actually want. Their new booking system SUCKS. Finally reached our breaking point and looking forward to finding a new barber shop.

Booked online for a beard trim and haircut 7/14/22 @ 3:30pm. The woman who owns the bulldog gave me a 15 minute haircut and said it was too late to do a beard trim and that I needed to have booked 2 slots online (nowhere on their site was this stated.) All I wanted was lined up, a 5 to 10 minute job at best. She wasn’t rude per se but just outright refused to give me the services I had booked for and really acted completely unenthusiastic about the whole thing. Also, no hair wash available so I had to go the rest of the day covered in hair, thanks for that. Completely unprofessional, and you couldn’t pay me to go back. I sure as hell didn’t tip, and looking back I should have just walked out.

Left covered in hair and Terrible fade. Trust the recent reviews. Arguing how I wanted it cut… and rude welcoming… asks for your name than doesn’t respond and another barber just says have a seat. Nothing corresponding to they were running behind..

Waited 30 minutes with an appointment only to continually be passed up by the barbers seating their friends, just walking in, ahead of me. If you’re looking for a new spot, I wouldn’t recommend it. Definitely won’t be returning.

They can bring that style of rudeness and it’s cool. I won’t be going there anymore. And I would advise others of better places with friendlier staff. They act like you are inconveniencing them.
