I’ve been using Wilson’s for over a year and he’s a decent enough barber but I will not be returning. I have always booked for first thing in the morning (he’s usually late for opening) but twice now he has taken walk-ins ahead of me – so much for haircuts by appointment only. It may be he thought the walk-in was me this morning but I doubt it.

Matt Wilson is a great barber. There are many aspects to cutting hair properly, not everyone can cut men’s hair properly. Not everyone can fade or pull off a tight squared away fade. Matt has all those skills. He’s everything I’ve been looking for in a barber for 2 years since moving here. Cuts: high quality. Experience: Pleasant/excellent. Cleanliness: two thumbs up. Professionalism of shop: two thumbs up.

Matt is a versatile barber who cuts hair at a very reasonable price. He’s the only barber I’ve been to who cuts my hair exactly how I want it to be cut every time I see him. We are on vacation in Laconia for the week, from CT. Decided to call and make appts for my 3 sons to get haircuts. We were able to get in within an hour from when I called…great guy – personable, professional, and just a really comfortable place to be. Not to mention…fantastic haircuts! Since I’m mostly bald I’m not sure that I’m best able to review a barbershop. However, I will say that this barbershop is well run, and the haircut is fast and reasonably priced. Definitely my barbershop of choice in the Lakes Region.
