Wild Roots is an amazing oasis in Portsmouth! Rachel has created such a unique gem of a salon. With the natural lighting, ALL the plants, unique gifts and unpretentious atmosphere, it’s so easy to feel comfortable here. Found this place looking for someone to cut my husband’s long, curly hair as well as my own hair. The shop is beautiful and so calming—I really like that they use/sell organic hair products. Rachel is amazing and did a fabulous job with both of our hair and was so fun to talk with as well. Had a wonderful experience at this salon with both Rachel and Eliza. The salon is welcoming, warm and relaxing. Rachel is an expert stylist who makes you feel instantly comfortable in her chair and you will love how you look and feel when you leave. Eliza did a wonderful job cutting my daughter’s hair for her first haircut! She was friendly, engaging and patient. Cannot recommend this salon enough.

My new favorite salon! I went there on a whim after having run into one of the stylists, whom I knew from elsewhere. Eliza, my stylist, was FABULOUS! She took the time to ask questions and really listen to what I was asking for, and I was very happy with the results. She was also very personable and gives an AMAZING scalp massage.
