Wild Folk is a Gender neutral and environmentally friendly salon studio space located in the heart of downtown Royal Oak. Specialties include LGBT+ friendly hair cutting based on length of hair as well as high quality, waste reducing hair styling products. My approach to hair is natural, gentle, and embraces textures of all types including curly hair which is a salon favorite to sculpt. I encourage hair to live as it grows, naturally wild.

Caitlin from Wild Folk Salon is truly a master! She’s able to take my wild, wavy, unruly hair and turn it into something out of a magazine. She’s so easy to talk to and makes the whole experience seem like you’re just hanging out with a good friend. She’s incredibly knowledgeable and talented, and you can tell she’s passionate about her work. She did a fantastic job giving me the blonde hair of my dreams and cutting my hair in a way that works with my texture and day to day style. Her space is so cozy and inclusive, too!
