I got my first ever wax with Wides. I was super nervous but she made an uncomfortable situation comfortable. I walked out feeling amazing! It definitely was worth the hour and half drive. I booked with Wides because of all her amazing reviews so I expected the experience to be great. However, I booked my appointment for 11:30 and arrived 10 minutes early. Wides texted me letting me know she would be a couple minutes late and I was completely understanding. I ended up waiting more than 30 minutes before just getting up and leaving. She called me telling me she was around the corner yet she never showed. I understand being a couple minutes late as I am not a timely person either, but waiting for half an hour past my scheduled appointment time is ridiculous. I wish she would’ve at least recommended rescheduling instead of having me wait. I was excited to get my first sugar wax as a new client but unfortunately, I never got the chance to. I booked with Wides because of all her amazing reviews so I expected the experience to be great. This was my first time visiting Wides Sugar Wax. I arrived early but still had to wait like 15/20mins because she took another person ahead of me. I was referred to her by a well established esthetician whose been sugaring for years. Wides energy was negative/dismissive, not warm at all and she barely welcomed me into the suite and didn’t politely guide me to the other side of her curtain to inform me on how/what she wanted me to do. She just said lay down on the bed (with no towel or covering.) She was very short/dismissive in her tone. She didn’t even get all my hairs for my Brazilian on the inside of my lips or the back. She was very nonchalant almost like she really didn’t want me on her bed servicing me. I really don’t know what her issue was but that type energy can’t be around clients when you are providing intimate client services or any client service. This is how I know she was in the wrong and brought her attitude/negative energy to work…she finished the service, I walked to the other side of the curtain and she pulled out her phone, dismissively says “what’s your name again?…ok thank you, have a safe trip back.” I said how much do I owe and even pulled out $ to pay. I would never go to her again.
