The Best Barbershop in Downey that I have ever been to. Very Family Friendly. If You walk in with Your Kid they will put a Cartoon of their choosing on. The Barbers are All Very Professional. They Understand and Respect that Your Time is Valuable. The Haircuts are all Top Quality. They have gotten a large Following by Word of Mouth because of This. This is A Place That has gotten back to the Roots of Respecting and Taking Great Care of All Their Clientle. Very Well Done !

This shop is by APPT ONLY! DON’T bother wasting your time going on a Sunday or doing walk-ins, as there’s only 1 barber(Brian) working Sundays and he’s fully booked with APPTS(in my 2 hours that I chose to wait around in the event a cancellation arose) I watched 4 other potential walk-in customers get turned away, because this shop can’t meet the supply & demand of its customers on one of the busiest days of the week Sunday, by having more than 1 barber working. If you’re Walk-in you’ll be treated with excessive wait times no matter the day(been going here over 3 years before pandemic, my old barber JC left), get a cut once a month or so, and have witnessed on my own account waiting 2-3 hours numerous times while the barbers acknowledge your impatience, but continue chatting/talking and wasting time until their next appt shows(even mentioning other customers in the past who have grown impatient with the excessive talking/wasting time)all the while side eyeing You, I’ve bit my tongue only because everyone knows you’ll get a messed up cut complaining, but I won’t be going back here since there’s definitely no Respect or Value for your Time, unless you’ve booked that APPT! And based off the Owners’ condescending reply below to another person about long wait times and excessive talking, I doubt they’ll even care about “not earning my business”. I even mentioned I had a funeral today, no sense of urgency or care from Brian to accommodate Me as he wastes 20mins extra per client talking until his next client shows up, the 40 minutes from those 2 clients adds up to another haircut. I walked out, not even an apology or acknowledgement! This is the result of letting people be their own boss, customer service goes in the trash! Always kinda felt a weird vibe here, maybe because I’m looking at people wasting others’ time ignorantly!

Im 30 years old and finally found a barber shop I can trust and that I’m actually comfortable at. Most places are either very corporate or very hood. This place has the perfect combo of professionalism and chill vibes. Daniel the owner is a great barber and leader to his team. Highly recommend anyone to come here.

Really great shop, friendly clean place! Love the inside, shop is filled with great art pieces. I always go with Daniel or Bryan majority of the time, but the others are just as good too! They all take their time which can be a good thing. Definitely recommend.
