Critical: PunctualityI booked my appointment with Telly and she pushed the appointment back twice. When I finally arrived, there was an additional two hour wait. I asked for her to refund my deposit and she did. She was also was willing to give me a discount for my braids. Unfortunately, I declined those offers because it was 8:00pm. I booked my appointment with Telly and she pushed the appointment back twice. When I finally arrived, there was an additional two hour wait. I asked for her to refund my deposit and she did. She was also was willing to give me a discount for my braids. Unfortunately, I declined those offers because it was 8:00pm. My original appointment was scheduled for 10:00pm. Critical: Professionalism, PunctualityI then booked here so many times to get my make up done and had a wonderful experience with make up artist Aladdin. Except for last Friday when i came and waited an whole hour just to find out that he hurt his back but did inform a coworker to let me know but she failed to do so she had me waiting an hour not to mention the owner of the shop was there just watching this all take place. That was just the second incident. The first strike was when I came to get a closure sew in by a hairstylist named Jah. I booked the appt a month beforehand and made sure to send my deposit and confirmed my appt the day before as instructed. Showed up on time at 9 am just to wait two hours. Was texting and calling non stop but was getting no response. Then as soon as I left and found another stylist she decided to finally text back to let me know she didn’t receive the text smh. All lies because how would you know to text me back if you didn’t receive the text. Then took her 2 weeks to send back my deposit and did it with such an attitude like i did something wrong to her. Definitely would never step foot back into this salon until she get her employees in check. If I could give this salon no stars, I absolutely would ! This place is overhyped and unprofessional! There is no reason, a client should wait over 30mins to be seated. I’ve been here 3 times and no one in there is friendly or inviting. The salon should be walk in only because making an appointment only insures you’ll get your hair done. I waited an hour and 40 mins before I left. The shampoo girl couldn’t explain to me why I had an 11am appointment but was yet to be seen , washed and barely spoken to by 12:40. The owner has no policy what so ever in place clearly to address the mannerisms of her salon. As an OWNER clients waiting over 30 mins should not be acceptable PERIOD. As long as the stylist are getting paid their attitudes and the way they carry themselves should be in check at all times. They are rude. A year ago a lady named Shalay did my hair for a formal event. Told her my hair was blonde, she said she provided hair for my bun which i didn’t need because my hair was long. Anyway I get there and the girl doesn’t have the hair in my color hair , WHICH I SENT HER A PICTURE OF PER HER REQUEST. Needless to say I waited for 2 HOURS for the ugliest style I have ever had in my life. Shalay didn’t care one bit she got her money barely spoke and that was that.

Terrible place. My daughter booked an appointment for 8am the day before her 17th birthday photo shoot. We sat at the building a hour. The stylist then blamed everything on an alleged assistant being late at 2 hours after the appt my daughter gets a text to come back. Shop was not open takes your deposit an plays games

This is the worst service i ever received. I had a appointment at 7am & no one showed or contacted me. The stylist Nay never responded to my calls or texts. She NEVER gave me a deposit back. I know at least 5 others who the same thing happened to at this salon. They are taking people deposits and con people!!

I scheduled an appointment and “stylesby. Telly” never showed or answered her phone. She responded via text an hour later she Apologizes and reassures me she would be able to do my daughter’s hair before her birthday pictures. She wanted me to return at 3pm and I agreed.It was 45min after the appointment before I left. She then texted me she was still on her way. I asked for a refund and she stopped replying. Then my money was refunded that night.

I took my daughter here for a sew in w/closure. Ask for jah is the stylist. This salon is ran poorly, very unprofessional. We sat for almost over an hour waiting for someone to start on my daughters hair. While we were waiting to get my daughters hair braided the lady who was supposed to braid her hair for the sew in, was taking her own hair down in the middle of clients. The stylist ask for jah was doing jumbo twist on a girl before my daughter and in the middle of the style she walked to the gas station for chips and a pop. I’m appalled by the lack of professionalism and cleanliness. We got here at 1:30pm its a Friday and the salon has been dead all day. We still have not left and it’s after 7:30pm for a sew in. I would NOT recommend this place at all. This is a salon full of young girls renting booths with no structure or salon etiquette. The owner needs to learn how to manage and run this salon. I can see by all the negative reviews this salon has major issues, which I should of looked at google first instead of instagram. Steer clear, I’m very unhappy. No manager on duty either.

Thekexperience was rude and disrespectful and treated me not equally as everyone else. I over heard her saying to another hairstylist that she didn’t do her other clients closure right because she was “rude and her baby was screaming to much “. I had a 2 30” bundles and a 28” and she cut it so much that it ended up being a 16” I paid $140 for no reason. My leave out was so bad that my tracks show in the back. And this place is dirty and very unhygienic.
