Brought my 3 year old daughter with sensory needs in for a haircut, and the staff was incredible. We were welcomed in by Dan, who was friendly and checked in with my daughter and I throughout our appointments. Stylist Diana was interactive and gentle with my daughter, and took her time to make sure she was comfortable. She even styled her hair in dutch braids after the cut. We couldn’t be more grateful for the care the team made in making this a positive experience for our little one!

This was my first visit to Whip which is so conveniently located to where I live. I was lucky enough to have Isabella work on my hair which was long overdue for some nurturing. I really didn’t know what I wanted other than needing to tone down the blonde and the greys I did have. Isabella gauged what would work best and ensured I walked out happy. I have been looking for a new salon to go to as my last stylist retired! I found this salon on a Google search and booked online for the sheer convenience of having that option and also the excellent reviews they receive. I work a very demanding career and I’m on call 24/7 and actually had to rebook this appointment 2x due to pure exhaustion from work. I wasn’t sure what I wanted done besides a much needed trim. So I booked what I thought I was looking for. Upon arrival, I was told I should have booked a balayage and not what I actually booked. I was then told they would not have time to accommodate me (which is my error not theirs) . So I just asked for the haircut and blow dry. Since I knew I had already rebooked this appointment previously and my extreme tiredness combined with my own booking error I def shed some tears at the thought of having to rebook and drive 45 minutes again. Meg spoke to the manager and they were able to accommodate me even though I asked specifically for them not to do that or inconvenience anyone and I’d just get the haircut and go. Meg allowed me to just sit back and relax which was what I needed. My lesson learned here is to know what I’m booking in the future but to also know the importance of self care. As I looked at myself in the mirror, I realized how tired I really was but how refreshed I felt at the end of my service. Thank you Meg for being understanding and doing my service in full even though I booked it wrong!
