I am glad we decided to give this place a try! It’s such a cute and fun place to take your kids for a haircut! Our son is 1 1/2 and his stylist Kaityln was so quick and gentle with him! She cut his hair exactly how we wanted! I also love that they have toys and accessories you can purchase your kids after their hair cut! We definitely will be coming back when it’s time for his next haircut!

We took my little man here recently for his first haircut. He absolutely hated it and screamed the entire time. That being said, the stylist was very patient and did an amazing job. The interior of the salon is also very cute and child friendly. We were also given an adorable certificate with lock of hair as a keepsake. I definitely recommend!

Today’s appointment turned my 5 star rating to 1 star rating. 4pm appointment, came 45 minutes early to specifically wait for the Minnie Mouse car. The owner walks in, grabs her 4pm appointment and grabs the Minnie Mouse car. The kid didn’t pick it, the mom did. I mentioned that we have a 4pm appointment as well and have been waiting 45 minutes to make sure we got the Minnie car. The owner said they have more appointments, so my son had to pick a different car. So we take the batman car and Kaitlyn asked what I wanted his haircut to be. I said, “The haircut you gave him was absolutely perfect last time. You said you were going to update the notes with what you did.” She grabbed her clippers and SHAVED OFF ALL OF MY SON’S HAIR!!! She only used the scissors last time with her fingers. My son is bald. Our Christmas card pictures with Santa are tomorrow, you can’t glue his hair back on. His hair looks horrible. She never updated the notes and it was from another lady who cut his hair months ago and she DID NOT KNOW HOW TO CUT HAIR. I’m so beyond upset. I spoke to the owner after her client left and the owner is the most sickening part. She stared blankly at me and said, “Well, your notes say a 2 guard. I’ll just update them.” That’s it. Nothing else. No apologies, nothing about us waiting 45 minutes to make sure we get the Minnie car, nothing. This place is a JOKE. STAY FAR AWAY! Not worth the one time great cut you MIGHT receive. I have taken my son here 8 times and have only received ONE great haircut. There’s not much more options for children places specifically, that’s why I would come back. Looks like I’m heading to Locks of Fun in Valparaiso for now on. I was trying to save time and gas but I have never had a bad haircut there. A month ago, I hat Kaitlyn for the first time and she went beyond my expectations. I left a 5 star review here, Facebook, their website and emailed the owner. Kaitlyn had zero knowledge of it today. I never received a “Thank you, I’ll pass it along to Kaitlyn and mark her file” or anything. I brought this up to the owner as well and she just blinked. HORRIBLE!

My son and I love this salon! They are very good with the kids and it’s so cute in there. We usually arrive before our appointment time and they take us immediately, so we are in and out quickly. They have TVs and tablets to occupy the kids and they can watch whatever they like. The hair dressers actually talk to the kids and are very patient.We won’t be going anywhere else. Highly recommend!
