Critical: ProfessionalismI called twice to try to get a hold of this hair salon. When no one answered the phone I looked on their website and it said that they did walk-ins. So I assumed that it was primarily walk-ins since no one answered the phone. So the next day I went to this hair salon and as I walked in there were two stylists helping clients. I stood there for a second and when no one said anything to me I assumed that they were just busy. So I had a seat. I sat there for 10 minutes and nobody talked to me. Not only did no one talk to me, I had one of the stylists looking over at me like I was strange for sitting down or just being there. It was really weird to me that nobody said anything to me or even acknowledged my presence. even after a client walked in and a stylist came over to greet her, that stylist didn’t say anything to me. Because of this experience I just walked out and scheduled an appointment with a different hair stylist because I just felt so awkward and weird being in that building. This is was FIRST salon being new in town, and I don’t need to look further! The stylist I so fortunately had to color/cut my hair was Ms. Mariah and she is a doll! Mariah is very warm, and loves her job and really listens to you. The color was exactly as I hoped, and I really like the product used (my hair was super shiny after). Mariah also gave me a lovely trim and style.

Any chance I get, I highly recommend Whimsy and Beau Hair Design to my friends and family. I usually see Linda and she is amazing! The real perk of Whimsy is that even if Linda isn’t available, I would trust all the ladies their to do my hair. They are all very knowledgeable and take their time to make sure you are 100% satisfied.

Granite this is March and I visited in December. I went in after not having had a cut in three years as a busy mom so I had a over two feet of hair to get cut off. I made the appointment weeks earlier but when I got there I was seated and had to wait 45 min while watching the stylist I was booked with chatting and talking with her client after her hair was DONE. When I finally got brought over, I was in and out in less than 20 min. When I asked if she was going to wash it or style it, she informed me they were having there office Christmas party in a few minutes and was in a rush. At least she was honest. I had to have a friend fix it, it was so choppy and bulky and unfinished. She was nice, but I am limited on time to come get a cut, and when it’s pretty big change, I would appreciate more quality experience.

Whimsy and Beau Hair Salon is a wonderful place to get your hair done. I have one of the stylist/hair colorist, Martha B., color my hair. She does an outstanding job every time. She is an excellent colorist and highly recommend her if you want to get your hair colored. She is skilled at doing both conventional hair color and fun hair colors; such as, Goldwell Elumen. She has been coloring my hair for years and recently changed my hair color from a dark, cool red to light blonde with little to no damage. She took the time to ensure the process went smoothly and conditioned my hair well during the process. Martha is also very personable and easy to talk to about what you want to do with your hair. She is careful to repeat back to you her understanding of what you want to done to ensure you are satisfied.
