I was reffered to Joey by a friend that has her family going to him on a regular basis. I have to say I’ve had over 15 years of massages working in the spa industry and Joey knows his stuff. Joey well educated me on certain muscles to stretch to keep my body more mobile. His pressure was spot on and at the end of the massage my body had released so much tension I saw blue. Very calming. I walked out from that awesome massage more clear headed and body less stressed. Thank you, Joey I’ll be back!

Joey is great. I like deep pressure. He can carrying on a conversation, or let you enjoy your massage in silence. Makes you feel comfortable. Has a hydraulic massage table so it’s lower to the floor if you have any issues.

I had a such a great experience here. I was a bit intimidated by the idea of going to a male massage therapist as a college-aged girl (I had only ever gone to female therapists before) BUT Joey was extremely professional and the whole experience was very comfortable and pleasant. I highly recommend for Elon Students as the location is basically on campus and he offers student prices that are AWESOME. Massage was 10/10!

I found WhatKnots thanks to a Google search and I really feel like I lucked out. I haven’t had a massage in ages, but I knew what to expect and it was way better than any massage therapy I can remember. I’ve been suffering from tension headaches and the therapist asked me about areas of concern and amount of pressure and I left feeling better than I had in a long time. I’d never had a massage from a male therapist, but it was fantastic; he was professional and used really consistent pressure throughout the entire massage. I actually booked several more for myself and my husband based on how good my experience was.
