Had a blast getting my first tattoo here! Krystal is honest and a great artist. She even added a lil to my tattoo idea that made it even better! She made the experience 100% comfortable starting higher on my forearm instead of my wrist to kinda give me a feel for how the tattoo gun feels.1000% will go back to her to complete my left sleeve and would highly recommend this shop!!

I recieved a gift certificate for $175 to What Tattoo and texted my artist (Stephanie) May 21st to set an appointment. I let her know that I was moving June 13th and was hoping for an appointment before then.On May 22nd she got in touch with me letting me know it would be no problem and we could set an appointment for June 7th and I would just need to drop off a deposit. Once I did that on May 24th she then let me know my appointment to June 11th at 12:30. Already irritated because I move only two days after that i agreed and caused no issues. 2 weeks and 3 days go by and I drive in to Wasilla from Anchorage to show up early to my appointment. 15 minutes goes by and my artist had still not arrived and I sent her a message asking if we were still meeting that day. In return she says “I don’t have you in for today …. I wonder if I spaced writing you In… Shit I see I gave you that date … but I didn’t write it in!!! I’m sorry I’m going to have to move it.” Thus I reminded her I moved in two days. She then let me know she doesnt do refunds and was not able to reschedule because “That’s too soon . I feel bad . I can give you the GC back and you can re gift it or sell it ?” The whole process was very messy and unprofessional. I was looking forward to having her art on my arm but was very disappointed in a service I didnt even recieve.

Took my daughter in to get her ears pierced, very professional and clean. Kevin talked to us a bunch about it, made sure she knew what was happening, and felt comfortable. I highly recommend for piercings. I will definitely be back!!! He also made sure to talk to me and her dad about cleaning them. He was very admit about making sure she knew how to clean them and how often. Thank you so much she absolutely loves them.

Went to see Kevin for a surface piercing. His work area is spotless. He’s personable, made the entire experience very comfortable, and walked me through the whole procedure. I am in love with my piercing! I would reccomend Kevin over anyone!!
