Critical: ProfessionalismWas here for couple’s massage 6/26. We have several go-to places that we love, but tried this place only because we were in Westport at the time and there was availability. One of us got a good massage, and one of us got a terrible massage. There was a slight mildew smell when laying face down, but the place appeared clean otherwise. Not worth taking the time to go into detail about the inappropriate comments made by the woman who appeared to be the owner, the condescending attitude when we didn’t want oil (on a brutally hot day), or the inappropriate questions the apparent owner was asking my boyfriend at the end while I was still in the room changing, but could hear everything. I love Westport Wellness. I have gotten massages from Yuki, Sasha and Lily, and they are all incredible. I don’t know what they do differently, but each massage is several levels above a massage I could get elsewhere. A little bit more pricey than the places I went before I found this gem, but worth it hands down. I won’t go anywhere else!

I have been living in Westport for over 14 years and had been going to Westport Wellness for a while and liked Barbie so much so that I referred my husband (a major mistake on my part). Over time, the place has gotten worse and the mildew smell took over the rooms more strongly. My last massage, I got a huge headache from it and felt nauseous. So, I started going infrequently and looking for another massage parlor. This past March, I found out that Barbie and my husband of one year have been having an affair (not sure where it started) and that Barbie is the VP of the joint even though she comes across as a simple massage therapist. I would disagree with one of the viewers that there is another lady taking the tips unless it was Barbie. In my opinion, the place is deceptive and crosses some major moral and ethical boundaries.

I had a groupon and which I used. I was asked to pay tax and tip in cash which I paid. When I paid taxes I asked for receipt and they denied me a receipt saying the groupon is my receipt. It is like going to a restaurant and paying with your gift card and not getting the receipt which shows tips and taxes. I do not have confidence that money I paid went towards taxes. I will not use their services again.
