Extremely pleased with both the doctor & staff! I am new to the area so I was unsure how my visit would go. The moment I walked through the door I felt welcomed by the staff. The wait time was not long. Once I was called back both the doctor & assistants were very friendly and quickly put my mind at ease. I did not feel rushed & thought the doctor was very thorough. Dr Melinda Conroy is an amazing doctor! She has great listening skills, does not rush, and she is confident in her diagnosis (unlike some doctors seem to play a guessing game). I had an appointment but was stuck on 620 due to an accident. I called ahead of my scheduled time to let them know and Victoria at the Lakeway location was so incredibly snobby and condescending and told me they would need to reschedule. I asked her to please ask the physician as I can’t help if there is an accident. She said no they only allow a 10 minutes grace period. I told her I was early for my last appointment two months earlier and y’all were late seeing me. I asked her to explain why they are allowed to treat me that way but when there is an accident on the road I am punished? She again was very rude and said oh so sorry in her condescending tone. I had to schedule this appointment 2 months out because I really thought I liked the doctor but apparently unless you are having cosmetic work vs. having something removed because it’s necessary doesn’t matter. Patient care doesn’t matter just as long as they can make money. Victoria should not be allowed to interact with humans and shame on you Westlake Dermatology for allowing patients to come last. I thought I was doing the right thing and calling in advance due to the accident but when you were late seeing me no one cared to talk to inform me you were 40 minutes behind schedule.
