Critical: QualityI walked in hoping to have a better experience than the other places I have gone to Arizona since I moved here. First I was told they did have a navy blue for my toes and offered very few color options so I ended up with a color completely diff than what I wanted. Then when getting my nails I’m assuming it was the owner or manager came to me with a color that was similar to what I wanted and I was okay with that. When I showed them the simple just 2 leaves on 2 fingers design the tech said okay and when about to put stickers on my nails she said it was $20 additional for 4 small stickers on my nails to which I said no. Money is not the issue I understand work is work but $20 for stickers is pretty outrageous. I asked for a matte top coat. Got done washed my hands paid and got in my car. As I was getting situated I looked at my nails dry and half the top coat was sticky and still shiny. I went back in to ask if it could be fixed and the manager or owner said something along the lines of when you grab something harshly and hit your nails it’s going to leave marks I informed him I had seconds ago gotten in my car and had not touched anything. I’m usually not one to pick at things but getting an attitude after spending $80 on a pedicure and gel set all I really wanted was for the Matte coat to be applied and dried properly and instead got an attitude like o was asking for a refund. I just walked out because I’m not going to sit there while they bicker and complain in a foreign language to each other because I can’t understand it, which is just rude when talking about someone in front of them. Everyone is allowed to speak whatever language they please but when someone can not understand the language and it’s clear they are being talked about its just wrong. Positive: Professionalism, QualityFirst off let me start off by saying this place is VERY expensive if you want special designs on your nails. They charge for every little thing. I paid $115 (not including tip) for my set, however, my nail tech did a fabulous job! Ni took her time on my nails and made sure I was happy. I will be coming back when I want basic nails (one color). If you want special/unique nails, I recommend trying to find a more affordable place, unless you want to shovel out some good money. First off let me start off by saying this place is VERY expensive if you want special designs on your nails. They charge for every little thing. I paid $115 (not including tip) for my set, however, my nail tech did a fabulous job! Ni took her time on my nails and made sure I was happy. I will be coming back when I want basic nails (one color). If you want special/unique nails, I recommend trying to find a more affordable place, unless you want to shovel out some good money. I stumbled across Westgate nails and I had a great experience from the start. I was assisted right away and V did an excellent job on my nails! I just moved to Glendale and needed my nails done badly but am not familiar with the area yet! I stumbled across Westgate nails and I had a great experience from the start. I was assisted right away and V did an excellent job on my nails!
