Here in VA for a funeral and really needed a haircut. Lived in the VA/DC area for over 20 years so I was familiar with other barbershops but not this one. Got there about 830am on a Thursday morning and was able to immediately, after walking in, sit in a chair for a haircut, as it wasn’t very busy(one other person was getting a cut also). Told the barber(very very nice lady, but did not get her name) that I wanted a skin fade with about half my hair off top. She did a very good job on the fade and surprisingly she did a better job on a lineup than most barbers I’ve been going to for years. Plenty of TV’s to watch while there , pleasant atmosphere and price was on par with what I usually pay in Ohio. Very pleasant experience overall, would definitely visit again if I need a haircut while here visiting my kids.

I started to get my hair cut here when businesses were starting to open at the end of the Covid pandemic. I was tired of the chains, and a few other locally owned barber shops that just didn’t do a regular men’s cut right. All wear masks, the past 5-6 times I have gone there had been almost no wait mid afternoon on a weekday. They do a great job!

Positive: QualityGood quality haircut and it’s always clean and prompt service. I’ve been going here for a few years and they do a decent high and tight. There is a language barrier at times depending on who you get but they speak enough english to know what you want in your haircut. I’ve never had issues communicating.

Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueI have been taking my son to this barber shop for 9 years, we always go to the same person, the only person that my son didn’t cry when he was 3. She is like family now, she knows exactly what he wants.I have also went through all phases of long hair, then bald due to chemo, then the regrowth and she was there for me every step of the way! I still go for hair trims and I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my hair!My favorite stylist would not chop off your hair, she takes her time and asks questions, she is also far from being stubborn like certain stylists who would give you the look that they have in mind not what you want.Highly recommend for men, women and children! This has become my go-to barber shop, mostly for the convenience but also for the quality of haircut that I get here. They’ve got solid skills in doing the traditional military haircut which has been my standard for 15 years now. Price is reasonable. Service friendly. They remember me every time & know exactly how I like my haircut. I don’t even have to tell them how anymore.

Terrible customer service. My sibling came in and was initially ignored and skipped for other patrons that came in after her. After reluctantly accepting her, a barber named Trang snidely says “I don’t know why you came here because there’s a salon next door.” Even though they clearly have prices for women’s hair posted… My sister’s hair style is short and this barber shop is close to our house so it’s just convenient. Overall a pretty negative and undeserving experience. Plus the actual haircut they gave her was pretty terrible. Uneven and hastily cut.

I used to go to my old stylist in Chicago before and they would charge me $22. I came in here and they know exactly how I like it. She finished cutting my hair and asked how I liked it and it was perfect. They also remember me somehow so it’s great when I walk in, and always get the same woman to do it.
