Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueArtist Delta did a fine job. This isn’t your average turn and burn barber shop. They took their time and gave me the best cut I’ve had in years. These gents just earned a return customer.

Just what I wanted done at a nice price. The service was definitely worth what I paid plus the tip. Joey was my barber’s name (If I heard right while I was at the exit) and I’ll definitely get him to do it again. The other guys looked like they knew what was going on, so don’t be afraid to try somebody else here either.

This was by far the best haircut I’ve ever had. Not only was the cut perfect but that atmosphere was nice as well. Joey is an amazing barber and I will most certainly return to see him for my future haircuts.

All of these barber’s are top notch the best on the gulf Coast easily. They put time and effort into my haircut. I go at least one time a week two get the works and can trust everyone in the barbershop they have. And that is why I am pay them a premium. Not because they ask for it. It is really reasonable but they do such a good job on my hair I give them $40- $50 bucks a haircut. Because they give me v.i.p treatment. If you are a business man and like to look fresh hollar at my peeps at Joey’s formerly known as Jim’s barbershop. The $40 -$50 dollars optional but know matter what once they get done you will think the same but you do not have to tip like me but something is better than nothing for a great haircut. I appreciate joey and the crew for keeping me fresh. If you get a cut from don’t forget them on tip because they are the best.

Idk if he’s still there, but a barber named Cody, first chair closest to the door, has awesome skills. Not just skilled, but takes his time to make sure he does your style the way you want it. I have a styled flat top with sides shaved by straight razor all the way around from the hair cut line down. My flat top is not your basic miltary flat top. I like the top to be cut with the hair left as long as possible with my particular hair without exposing the scalp @ the crown and while looking like a military cut @ first glance, it is considerably a more complex cut. Cody has his own touches to the style I have and the complete job is always as close to perfect as it can be. My style/cut costs $20 and I usually tip $5. Cost is basically the same around town. For all intent and purpose, the cost, and the drive to Michigan Ave. will always be outweighed by Cody’s professional, calm demeanor, his barber skills, and of course the awesome ambience @ Jim’s that provides a setting that is comfortable for young men and children to a more mature clientelle. TVs @ all angles to watch while you wait. Even if I need to get a cut on Cody’s off day’s, the others also are quite skilled. Peak times might have a crowd of clients but worth the wait. Truthfully, w/my schedule, it is one of the few moments I can relax for a minute stress free during the wait in line and with the knowledge, comfort, and trust of skilled hands @ work for my benefit….
