If you love waiting two hours past your appointment time in a jam packed office this is the place for you! I had no choice, but to come back after not being here over a year. The dermatologist I began seeing is all booked up. I hopefully will never have to come back the wait is horrible and it’s like this EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I wish I was joking, but I’m sitting here almost two hours and still have people ahead of me. It’s no wonder this place has horrible reviews they double book everyone. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere!

I had a biopsy Nov. 1, 2022. no one contacted (even though I left several VM messages asking to be called with results. I finally received a VM from Mitzy Placencia , FNP on Friday 11/25- telling me I needed to come to office to discuss a “treatment” plan regarding the biopsy. I called tge following Monday asking to speak with Mitzi. I was very concerned and not happy to hear there was a “problem “ after not hearing about the results for 3 weeks! I never did get a call back to speak with Mitzi and spent Thanksgiving weekend with a dark cloud of concern! I made an appt. for Monday 11/28 and expressed my disappointment that I was left a VM and never got a followup call to speak directly with Mitzi. Mitzy said the “office manager” was supposed to call me but the manager did tell me when I made appt. that she was not able to give me the results as it was medical information that she was not able to give me. So in essence, Mitzi through the office staff under the bus saying tge “manager” was supposed to tell me results. Not cool! Lastly, when Mitzi was about to treat the area I needed with liquid hydrogen, she was going to do it in wrong area of my back and i had to stop her. She did not know the area of biopsy and had to go get my report to locate the area she did the biopsy. It would have been more professional if she had reviewed my chart prior to seeing me so she knew what area on my back needed to be treated. I am not returning to West Derm Center as I am no longer confident in the professional service of Mitzi. I will add that the office staff are excellent and treated me very well and the staff have always been very friendly and helpful when I made appts. and in the office. However, medical experience, I give West Derm Center 1 star.

If I could put no stars I would. The staff at this practice is rude and unprofessional. They don’t tend to their patients needs. The secretary is rude and is always busy gossiping. Her use of language is nasty I wish I could find better words describe how unprofessional she is. She scares the patients and does not make them feel comfortable. I hope she gets fired. Surely she won’t find a job anywhere else. The nurse practitioner is another person that is rude and seems like she doesn’t know what she is doing. She makes you feel uncomfortable and not safe. She feels entitled to not explain what she doing to you or why. In conclusion at this practice EVERYONE LACK PROFESSIONALISM AND PEOPLE SKILLS.
