The staff are super friendly but the massage was not what I expected and left me really sore. My daughter and I booked a 2 hour massage. First off I didn’t realize that they actually walk on you but I guess I should have researched more. The massage wasn’t like any I have ever had, it felt like your kid or friend massaging you that don’t really know what they are doing. My daughter has bruises on her back still (3 days later) and my shoulder blades have really been hurting. I definitely don’t recommend.

That was the best spa experience I’ve ever had. The spa is clean, nicely decorated, relaxing and smelled amazing. The therapist was kind and applied great pressure to relieve the pain I had being an athlete who works out intensely 5x a week. I got a 90 minute deep tissue massage with body and feet. She spent great time on both and worked some strong kinks out. She even stretched me out a little at the end. Awesome experience, awesome staff, awesome atmosphere…definitely will be going back!

I had to schedule a same day appointment due to a pinched nerve in my neck. They were very kind and thankfully they had availability. I t was amazing! The pressure was perfect and I felt she attended to my areas of discomfort. I could tell she knew exactly the areas and the best way to work out my knots. I left feeling amazing and I will be coming back. The place was clean, smelled amazing and decorated to feel professional and inviting. This place should not be overlooked and the price was great!

Amazing place! Very professional and courteous. I have been back a few times already for deep tissue massage and I can’t recommend a better place than Wellness spa! It definitely the best in Galveston! The establishment was clean and professional, they can take 6 customers at the same time on weekends. No one else can do it in the area. Highly recommend!

Had a 24-hour migraine due to stress that had built up mainly in my neck, shoulders and back. Went in to get one of the best 90-min deep tissue massages I’ve ever had in my entire life! The therapist was so thorough and worked through my stubborn knots that many inexperienced therapists seem to give up on. If you (like me) love a massage that hurts and feels soooo good, go to Wellness spa. Also, the atmosphere is great. Once you leave the waiting area, it opens up and is so peaceful and relaxing – like a little oasis! Prices are very comparable to other spas in the area – if not a little cheaper (!!). Thank you wellness spa!

My husband and I had the couples massage. Perfect! Even on a busy Saturday they fit us in at 2:00. We walked out feeling amazing! First time for us to have one and didn’t know what to expect…. Worked on my neck and back muscles! Made my feet feel soft and pretty again! They was totally professional and made us feel very welcome! I will definitely be back. I recommend this to any couple wanting to do something new! Then head over to the strand to enjoy a nice dinner.

My husband and I just had a couple message. It was very fairly priced, actually cheap, compared to most couples messages at other places. It was easy to book, and we got both for the hot stone, full-body message. If you’re more inclined to, “the finer things in life”, this location might not be ideal. However, if you’re looking for a nice message at a good price- it’s great.

This place was everything I wanted in a massage. The spa was very calm and relaxing. My massage therapist took her time and really focused on the places were I had the most tension. I loved the convenience of online booking. I will definitely be coming back.
